Blacksmithing - Forging a Christmas gnome 2022

Follow along when I make this nice Christmas gnome from a piece of steel bar. This large size stock really needs a power hammer, but the same techniques should be possible to apply on smaller stock as well.

These are what I remember from the Christmas Eve dinners given by my grandparents (who emigrated from Sweden around 1900): gräslökssill gräddsill Julgröt gamla gubba Svea ost Kumminost potatiskorv Bruna bönor köttbullar Göteborgskorv Santa Lucia (min lillasyster med krona av ljus) I hope I got most of these right. It was a battle with online translating. (I'm crying. I miss it so much.)
