I'm just blown away by how this amp sounds. The low end is really good for such tiny speakers and never really sounds like it's boxed in. Another cool thing is that I wasn't expecting a gain channel this good. Sure it won't have a tube amp response but it can get really loud for a bedroom amp and has a really good response to my pick attack and cleans up very nicely with my volume knob. It takes pedals really well. How is this thing this cheap? This is one of those vox Pathfinder cases where you just wonder how something that tiny can sound that good. I bought it after hearing a lot of praise but I wasnt expecting it to be this good. Also blown away by your playing. You rock ☠️

@@SteveMurrayMusic I'm getting older so I can't carry all these 90 lb amplifiers around with many more. So I bought this Vox velvetronix. 30 amp 1 10in speaker so I can carry something around it turned out The thing is a beast I put an American tube in it took the Russian one out thing is wicked.

The "Fly" practice amp I bought sounds better than it should, lol, now I'm curious about Blackstar gear. I never thought 3" guitar speakers could be anything but a joke, but they definitely know what they're doing. If I just had to have the Fly as my only amp (not that I'd want to), I wouldn't die; I'd survive. I'm talking home studio use of course, lol. If I ever have a real band again, then yeah, it wouldn't work for that, obviously. Being in a band sucks more than it's fun, lol. Everybody wants to do vomity songs like "Hotel California" for some reason, and I'm more of a Ramones/Sex Pistols guy, lol. Plus who knew that when you're playing a gig, you cant even hear yourself?! I'd have to watch the other members and go by what they looked like they were doing. Sorry about the extra brain diarrhea, lol, stuff got me thinking I guess. Good demo. Might get this.
