Great Demo,,, and actual real life songs were played as opposed to almost ALL OTHER bass demos that just slap the shit out of a bass. I agree and thank you for not slapping. Slapping doesn't get you paid gigs. Solid fingerstyle or pick playing with great tone gets paid gigs. The Blackstar sounds awesome!

I've got a U250 combo which I play my G&L L2000 through at practice which together make such a huge sound I grin every time I play. Now after watching this I'm half convinced to trade in my GK 700 RB ii just so I can see what it's like through my Neo 4x12 cab... Thoughts?

In short yes. Blackstar designed an active 250 watt cabinet that can be connected to any combo in the Unity range. On the rear panel of each Unity combo you will find a ‘CAB LINK’ XLR connection, which connects to the Unity Ext. cabinet. You can then daisy chain more extension cabs together increasing the power by 250 watts each time. It’s a 1 x 15 cabinet rated at 250 watts, and the official product code is - U250ACT 1 x 15. I hope this helps

@@john_rocks_jaxif my message reply wasn’t clear, there is a specific extension cabinet made for the Unity range. If you’re referring to the Unity 250 combo amplifier itself the answer is no. You can not connect two amps together. The Unity 250 combo would connect to the Unity extension cab, which would make a 500 watt set up, as would the Unity 500 combo would also connect to the Unity extension cab making a 750 watt set up. The extension cabinet is rated at 250 watts you see and is connected by the ‘CABLINK’ connection via an XLR. Connecting a standard U250 combo to a U500 combo would result in damaging the units!

I’m looking at this for use in a low tuned, heavy overdriven metal band...a lot of the signs point Darkglass and I am looking for a good alternative to Darkglass. Would you be able to show a demo of this used in a setting like this? Examples: The Acacia Strain, Bodysnatcher...
