I like all the versions, each of these girls had a big place in my heart, while in the beginning the voices of the first formation were lighter, the second seems to be more powerful and bright. But in my opinion, the first songs really killed Nvee and Gabi's voice, mainly because I think it was due to the instruction on how the song was sung in the old vocals. Now if you look at Karma and Cat and mouse, their voices are more comfortable and stable

Personally Nvee’s voice sounds better for me since Leia’s is a bit more nasally and Nvee is vocally trained. But Leia did add some spunk, which Nvee could give the more she gets comfortable in performing

I don't think so, I love both versions but I just can't stand the person that is Leia, her voice doesn't bother me at all in Close to Me, it's just... *Her* that I can't with. I think that NVee doesn't need to change her voice to imitate the voice of Leia. She's a new member, it's new and she's slaying, I ain't complaining, I'm super proud of her!

@@sdjamaay3021 Leia is still amazing, no matter if people think she is a bad person. She has a certain confidence in her voice and a great tone that no-one can replace. I just don't think NVee's voice suits Close To Me in my opinion. It just sounds like a cover artist. Then again, with these new members, the company have put zero in making the recorded vocals sound like it ain't a cover and actually sound decent.

Tbh I always thought CTM sounded like it was meant for a 5 member comeback which is why I thought they gave Leia so many lines. Respectfully her voice and lines are so interchangeable and the way she sings it sounds cute and sweet whereas NVee has a cool tone, it easily fits in with the lines and she has direct way of singing them. Despite Fatou and Leia’s ongoing BTS drama, if it were all 5 of the current members I think the song would sound great

The Belgium version of close to me is my favourite. Don’t agree with what Leia did but her vocal colour is perfect for Close to Me. That being said Gabi in particular adds something amazing, especially on Pre chrous part B. That one line is addictive
