I can unequivocally say that I have always picked up some new or old way of doing a project from your videos. Especially working with resin. Also, I like how you deal with some simple project that turns into a problem. THINK ABOUT IT.

Sorry, Electric sheet metal tools would have made your life easier. There is a tool which looks like the wringer on an old washing machine that would have helped your hammered copper. Sunlight UV curing works really well and fast on a "nice" day as long as you get uniform exposure. Works for UV cure hard finishes too. This is the last comment, I hope I don't sound annoying ...

I also listen to your videos in their entirety. I suffered a massive stroke in Aug 2015. The hospital corporation treated me and moved me to their stroke rehab facility but refused to discharge me because I lived by myself and they said it was a liability issue. My Sister was divorced and an empty-nester who lived in SE North Carolina. She gathered her son from Raleigh and they came to Norfolk, Va to secure my release and moved me into her home. I have since acquired a Non-Service Disability Retirement Pension from the Veteran's Administration and have moved into my own apartment in Morehead City. I was an outcast all the way through school and bullied most of the way through school because I was very small for my age. I was only 4' 8" tall and 84 lbs on May 16th of my Sophomore year in High School and didn't even start puberty until I was 16 1/2 years old. This was the main reason I was still a social outcast with only two years remaining before graduation. I never got invited to anything and remained a social outcast until graduation. No parties. No dating. No prom. No problem! I was used to it. I live by myself. I didn't grow up in the Morehead City area. I don't know anybody. And due to my 60% Left-side paralysis and no car, no personal transportation, and no in depth knowledge of the area; I have no desire to go anywhere to even try to make any friends. Your Videos are a comforting presence in my life. The tonal quality of your voice is comforting. But even more so; you don't ramble on and on with useless self-aggrandizing comments like many Gaming video up-loaders do. You talk a lot, but you don't ramble. I subscribe to KZbin Premium and can play any videos on my TV start to finish without interruption while I go about doing other things. Sometimes I stop and actually watch and am amazed at the quality of your work. Regardless - your "presence" in my home goes a long way towards making me not feel alone.

Insomnia is not a problem anymore, but when it was, I picked up a habit of putting on something to listen to, so dark thoughts wouldn't overwhelm me. The voiceover in your videos keeps the loud sounds of the tools down and makes them calming. I've seen (or listened to) most of your videos and woke up to the end of this one today. Had to start it over to fully enjoy it. Thank You...

Cam love your videos my brother!!! I'm an old retired cabinet maker!!! Well I say retired! What I really mean is that I stopped selling anything I make!!! But to be honest I have been in the worst slump over this past year!!! And I so agree with you about using hand tools!!! Now my thinking is those who use nothing but hand tools are just tight with their money!!! I absolutely love nothing more than buying new tools!!! A lot of them I sneak and order!!! My wife doesn't say to much about me buying tools! But I still need no want her to keep me in line!!! Sure hard on the savings account thingy!!! Ba humbug!!! Lol that desk you made sure gives me the spirit I need to get back in my shop!!! I as well own a band mill and it's getting about the time of year for me to get back to work with it!!! Seeing how the Copperheads and Rattle snakes!!! Hey brother when you are cutting metal you need to invest in one of those cutters that fits in your cordless drill!!! I love the look of the metal especially the bluing but I love the copper look!!! But not taking anything away from the bluing metal!!! Because that looks amazing my friend...

I first off want to say thank you for long videos. I stay up late doing my college homework. I love getting to listen and watch in t breaks. My boyfriends that goes to bed early has to have the tv playing to fall asleep. I had workshop in my small town high school. While i watch your videos, i can reminded about all the projects and things i made in school. The teacher we had gave more skilled projects kids that were in the shop classes longer. So a fun memory I have making a scrap wood cutting board, the guy next to me was building a dog house. He furnished the roof and siding and then crawled inside and fell alseep. our teacher was not happy.

CAM.....Absolutely exciting....My Dad built restaurants all over the USA and Canada, from a small shop in Detroit. This was was way back the 50’s and 60’s....I spent a lot of time in the summer at his shop. He was amazingly innovative and had a great reputation as an artist in his field. I found your video inadvertently & was immediately transfixed. I did indeed fall asleep, but woke up multiple times. I was so fascinated by the projects, I kept on watching to the end. Great presentation and videography. I would think that the N3 Nano could offer luthiers some use to conclude their builds, as well in the long term maintenance for high end guitars, mandolins, and other stringed instruments. I enjoyed this from start to finish....You gained permanent fan here....

Hi Cam, I’m sure you don’t listen to people that say stupid things like “stick to what you’re good at!” Because you know you won’t grow and develop your skills if you only stick to what you know! Hi Professor Cam, you’re living the life. You’re not working with your hands, you’re creating works of art with your hands. I had shop in jr high and hi school back in the 60s. Electric, metal, and wood shop and I must say the most soothing, relaxing, and satisfying was wood shop. Your video’s should be shown in public schools to introduce and encourage kids to an enjoyable profitable future they can have in woodworking. Your demonstration and explanation in each project was top shelf. 😊 Thank you

I absolutely loved your talent and perseverance in creating a beautiful work of art, a functional table and extension with such an amazing grain. Iv got to say this is not my usual viewing entertainment, but from start to finish I was captivated by this wood becoming a dining tabls to be proud of. Nothing in this world is perfect, I think some imperfections create uniqueness. I thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to your story on this and really that's all I wanted to say. Insomnia is something I struggle with, because my work schedule leaves me having to flip my days and nights back and forth all the time. BUT! I did sit through all of this, and it was very soothing. Your voice has a quality that my anxiety responds very well to. As for what I would like to see... honestly, whatever you are doing, I will watch. Sometimes, I am really intrigued by the project, but even if I'm not, I watch to see if you are going to get into some spot where it just isn't working. I guess I like watching other people ride the struggle bus. Makes me feel like I'm not as much of a freak as I think I am. LOL Thank you for the videos, thank you for the honesty when you make mistakes. Perfect people are boring. :)

Insomnia. I have a few things to say, Cam, that you may be pleased to know or you may not, but I'm going to mention them anyway. Firstly, what a great montage of your favourite projects. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them again. Thank you. Secondly, I'm from the UK and have subscribed to your channel for some time now. I'm not a woodworker or the type of person to work with epoxy on the scale that you do. I just love your work. It's that simple. I do use epoxy for building the bodywork for my radio controlled petrol powered speed boats. I have been told some are a work of art and some pure beauty, which is a nice thing to hear after I have put so much time and thought into building the best boats I possibly can. Had I been lucky enough to have won that beautiful blue epoxy bendy table with the zebra wooden leg, I would not have accepted the money. To me, that shows that the viewer didn't care much for the piece of work in the first place. Lastly, when you said, "People prefer your videos to be longer so that they can watch them to fall asleep at night." I wouldn't agree. It is not that they find your videos boring, which is sending them to sleep. Rather, it's the sound of your soothing voice, your dulcet tone that sends them off to dreamland. I suffer with "mild" insomnia, if you can call it that. Is there really such a thing? What I mean is, I regularly go 4 or 5 even 6 days with no sleep, then one day I'll drop off uncontrollably for about an hour, then I'm awake again for several days. I don't do social media for a few reasons, mainly because of all the unesesary and sometimes hurtful things people say. If you decide to acknowledge this comment using the KZbin system, then I will read what you have to say by email. I have never skipped to the end of any of your videos, I don't see the point. Viewers are either interested in your work or they are not. At least, watching your videos for a few moments means you still receive payment, which is a good thing, right? I think viewers, at least not all of them, understand how much work goes into not just making the items themselves, but all of the behind the camera content. Scenes that we don't get to see. Even editing a video with voice-over is an art. Thanks again.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚒️🇺🇦🇮🇱

That was an amazing anthology. THANK YOU!! I will NEVER try any of what you did, but I did learn so much that I can apply to what I want to do. This is my first time watching you and the big take away for me is that you are extremely innovative. To use an "old school" term, "you think outside the box". Thanks again!!

Also they're are times where I learn a TON from your style video, and other times it plays in the background while I work on computer office stuff. But the details are SUPER VALUABLE! Especially for us guys just starting to finally build our personal shops and aren't big tooled up. Don't change a thing, if we're in a hurry we know how to skip to highlights

Unlike those critics who don't like your use of butterflys, I like them very much. I feel they help highlight the craftsmanship of the maker and look pretty cool too. On this particular project as nice as they look, I think they would look even more spectacular if made from one of the exotic black or ebony woods but that's just me. Nice Job, you always seem to inspire me.

Cam, I just finished watching...what a great video! I love these since learn a lot. I am a 1 month old in terms of woodworking. It's awesome that you show mistakes, thought process and solutions that work for you. As far as I know there are many ways to achieve results. The epoxy bent table would be loved by any mid-century furniture collector! Thanks!

Thanks for explaining the differences and abilities of American chisels and Chinese chisels. I’ve been trying to figure out just how the Chinese chisels made cutting wood look like cutting butter. Nice work-and great tips and tricks.

Match and enjoy the extended videos like you said, I never used to watch KZbin because they were very short videos that left a lot out that would interest me but now what I’m looking for is a 30 minute sometimes more video because I enjoy hearing about what you’re doing how you’re doing it. Thank you.

I did not have insomnia while watching. Lol I started watching your videos a little over a year ago and have really enjoyed your work and your sense of humor. My first response when people criticize my work is, "that's interesting, please send me the link to your video of how it should be done. I would love to learn from you." I think you know how that goes. Lol Thanks for all your hard work and honesty... there is much that people can learn from you. Happy New Year!
