Thank you to everyone for all the amazingly kind words in the comments, and for being with me on this journey! I can't believe its been 4 years. If you'd have told me when I was graduating high school that this is what I'd be doing with my life, I would never have believed you.... Life is strange, and wonderful, and through the ups and downs, its an amazing world, where any one of us can truly be anything we want to be. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share my journey with you, and am so excited for what the future holds... a big announcment is coming soon :) Much love to all of you, and thank you again for watching my videos to make all this possible.

I was watching videos like yours and some others to try to get going again, but during the journey more stuff started happening to me. I lost my brother during Covid to Covid. Two months later, I lost my only grandmother. My health drastically went downhill and the last two years I have nearly died three separate times one of them a doctor OD’ed me in the hospital and put me in the ICU. To the person that commented that part of the video for the word carcass the Meaning of Cabinet carcass does not mean road kill this is the real definition of cabinet carcass "A carcass cabinet is the framework or body of the cabinet" And modustrial I love this video of the process that happened to make the warehouse what it is now. Thanks for providing the awesome video. Another thing I would recommend is for that viewer that made that comment on the carcass word I would use the other word "carcase" so it does not trigger viewers... Even though cabinet carcass means something way different then what that commenter said.

It's absolutely INCREDIBLE how fast these people do these projects. Think about how long you would spend in between each of these steps figuring out what you SHOULD do, before you try to figure out how you can do. I can only imagine that everyone doing this has been doing it for years (and dozens of prior projects) in order to have the knowledge of how to basically "speak" renovation "fluently."

Kudos to you, man! The planning, your vision, all the measurements and finicky details, your extreme attention to detail - it payed off! I know some of the floors are technically not “correct” (the cut and seams being too close to the end or each other in some parts), but I would say you compensated by making everything seamlessly fit, like you did next to the brick wall. This would be my dream project - so much potential, I’m super jealous. Not jealous of all the work though; I know how hard it is to renovate a “regular” house when doing most of it yourself, and this was a major project. You got there in the end, although your bumps were major - which makes this even more impressive!! Man, you deserve all the credit wow! I’m equally happy and sad I only found your channel after the 4-year video; on one part I didn’t have to wait to see everything, on the other hand I could have watched you for 4 years.

I saw his forst video when he bought the house and loved the idea. Then lost his page and could never find it anymore. After 4 years I see his video thinking hmmm let’s check this video not realizing it’s him. And getting surprised its truly him this was worth watching and better then a 2 hours video. I love this. 💪💪

In truth, my friend, I started this journey of yours that I just saw almost at midnight yesterday (November 01) and I kept going until that epic end. It was the first time I came to your channel and I was impressed more than the amount of techniques, tools, friends, company collaborators, but above all, the impressive ability you have to overcome, not only the (surely) thousand and one things that came up as you advanced in your project, but also those three immense things that happened to you in the middle of the development; the big health problem (you are so lucky, my friend!), the death of your feline friend (it sure hurt a lot) and the separation from your partner at that time. You really are very resilient! I congratulate you for still finishing your project in a good way. (by the way, my greetings to Tex) Bravo for this chapter! Congratulations from Chile, South America!!

first time anything's ever been renovated in Chicago? Usually if you have money to renovate, you just move out of Chicago.

Man, 4 years ago I was still in high-school and watching a whole bunch of diy, home renovation, and handyman expansion projects cause highschool me wanted that cool, stock, youtuber setup. I stumbled across this series back during episode 1 and become so invested like a nosy neighbor: never really asking what's going on, but always sticking my nose in and saying to myself, "what's he up to now." It's weird seeing how much that warehouse has turned into a warehome.

9:12 for all you urban explorers out there, that self adhesive base layer is why you never walk on roofs. The rubber makes it look solid until you put weight on it and fall through

What an amazing transformation, you should be very proud of your achievements in turning the building into a fantastic place to live, I feel very honoured to have watched the changes over the last 4 years, not quite sure how I managed to stumble upon the 1st video, but so pleased I did. As others have said, I can't believe it's been 4 years, and thank God the Doctors did a great job in fixing you up as well.

I remember getting this recommended during the pandemic, watching a couple of videos and then never saw it appear again until now! Bingewatched the entire video, what an amazing transition and amazing job!! And what a wild ride you went though, not only with building complete new home, but also with your health. A completely life changing experience

Wow! I’m watching you for the first time, and was thoroughly impressed by your work, then in February of 2022 you had a pseudo aneurysm. Whoa. I too, just suffered one in June, of my superior mesenteric colic artery. I also lost over half my blood and was airlifted to a nearby city hospital. I couldn’t believe you also suffered one, at such a young age. Your home/studio/HQ are amazing. I subscribed and rang the bell. Here’s to new leases on life 💪🙏😎😇

I started watching your videos of this project back in 2020. I became really invested and was excited when a new one was uploaded. Later in the year, my boyfriend and I bought our first home! We moved in December 24th, exhausted but happy! My boyfriend did a lot of work on the house himself before we moved in, while I packed up and cleaned our old apartment out. He didn't have to do as much as you did of course but I can certainly appreciate the hard work, vision and talent it took to get it done, especially after he worked 8 hours renovating other people's homes each day. Your house came out lovely! I'm glad you're doing much better and can't wait to see what you do next.
