Aww yeah, Blackthorne is a great game--and it's really fun being able to give NPCs bloody deaths with extreme prejudice in some versions. I miss old Blizzard/North.

They have way too much financial backing and too many fans to let this one sit idle. I'm sure more people would come out to play it since it would be a welcome break from Warcraft and Overwatch.

Sorry for the late reply but that blizzard is long gone. I doubt they would bring this back...and even if so, they'd probably ruin it. Like if EA brought back need for speed most wanted '05.

First I played Out of This World, then I played Flashback and that one is still my favorite, then I played this and I love it,.. but I love the soundtrack the most. It's so chill and moody.

what do you think of the fact the snes was censored in comparison to the pc? The game is very heavy metal so I HATE they censored out the blood, as well al the gameover screen and bloodsplatter in the blizzard logo. The skull based item menubfor pc also was more in the style of the game (heavy metal). To bad they only added the snes and 32x version for the Blizzard Arcade Collection. Why do you think they didnt added the pc dos version as well?

In the final cutscene, Blackthorne keeps Sarlac's beastly pets (one of them shown on his left throne) and they become loyal to him for good. I'm so happy! :D

It doesn't save, if you notice, every mission start has a code, whenever you wanted to continue from that part, just put it on the home screen, in the part that says "password"

It's a shame the movement and controls are a bit slow and clunky in this game because everything else is pretty solid. I wish some hacker would go in and redo them slightly, just to make things a bit more "traditional" and intuitive, with it say automatically putting the weapon away when you want to climb and run and so on and then taking it back out again when you're done and ready to shoot, and that kind of thing. Also, it seems to have some loading delays on the main menu and stuff too, so a little tweak to that would be welcome also.

It is meant to be like that, have you played Flashback, or prince of Persia? It’s the “same” sluggish square controls, but after a wile it’s really logic and feels more “natural” than other games. This is not super mario, if the controls were different this game should just been a slow passed Super contra. Sorry for my bad English Best regards Fish G
