I HATE games that give you limited health in a race against time and then fill the path to the goal with BS enemies all over the place to slow you down. Reading the bit about the wet diaper just takes the cake. This game's gameplay appears to be focused on testing your patience. If I wanted to play a baby game, I'd much rather try _Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck_ .

It's one of those games which fell victim to too many punitive mechanics...

Isn't there a port that is unfinishable at all due to the final jump being absolutely impossible? Aw that game in my youth in video game magazines... Always wanted to give it a try but it seems to be more a trial than fun.

The visuals look really good but does it ever look painfully choppy to play.

This feels more like a PD game but £25.99. Jeez.

Yeah - definitely having a laugh at £25....

When i saw the pictures of this Amiga game from the magazines, such as AMIGA ACTION and THE ONE FOR AMIGA back in the early 1990's, i always wondered, do i want to look for this game? It even reminds me of SON OF CHUCK. And who remembers BRAT from Image Works 😹👍🕹️?

One of these games that completely ignore the chipset. A true hero for playing this.

Spent years with this system in the 90s before realising this was in the system, as a young boy named Alex I was thrilled 😅

I wish some of the arcade games from yesteryear, such as this Alien game, Beast Busters, Narc, WWF Wrestlefest, POW, would be released on the PS5. They'd make a killing selling such a game. But instead they can't be ayrsed to do it.

I don't understand how Bullet Hell Shmups can be fun, I mean, maybe people like them. Not me because it's a lot for the eyes to take in, but maybe someone can clue me in.

I could CRY just listening to the main theme. The nostalgia factor is STRONG with LBA 1 and LBA 2. I'm a grown-ass 37-year-old man, but Little Big Adventure has the power to make me 12 again.

The Menu track is fantastic, but doesn't fit the game at all. The Amiga version is 10 times better. But the menu music rocks on its own. That is very confusing haha 😂

The MSX version is a "Direct lazy port" of this. As far as lazy ports go, they did a pretty good job to keep music and sfx in the game, and the speed the game is running is pretty acceptable. It does have slowdowns that are absent on the Spectrum but considering the kind of lazy ports we got sometimes (and how video memory access works different on the MSX, making updating the whole screen indeed slower), it wasn't that bad. They removed the speech samples which made no sense since it was the same CPU and PSG doing the sample playing. But most importantly, on the MSX version, "4: Classified" on the opening screen and "Arrest Mode .... Directive 4" on the stage against ED-209 doesn't appear at all. *THAT* is a huge mystery to me. Why the hell did they remove anything related to Directive 4 in the MSX version ?!?!

MUCH preferred Battletoads as a straight out brawler than as the drawn out reflex trials that the main line console games were presented as. Its bizarre that the BT original creators couldnt suss out how the difficulty curve of those games kept the franchise from becoming so much more popular than it could have been

I had the rare chance to play DAYTONA USA at a bowling alley in Grande Prairie and it was genuinely one of the most fun arcade racers I ever played, it holds up extremely well. The same bowling alley also had the Simpsons Arcade Game, still in beautiful condition, just like the DAYTONA USA cabinet.
