this series is so great for so many reasons: - it provides a boost for devs to show off their projects in a decently popular channel - you get to see the way everybodys brains work from what they see to what they decide to add aswell as everyones specific talents like modelling, music or creative ideas - its really funny to see how clearly so many people have been inspired by dani in his short appearance on youtube aswell as some of the games that clearly made so many people decide that they wanted to make games and not just play them (it reminds me of how everybody i know studying to become an engineer has watched michael reeves, william osman, allen pan or others as they all do great jobs of showing what engineering is really like)

The last guys really saved the game. I don't know if they just put a f*** ton of effort into it or/and went over the time limit, but them being a bigger group and having 3D environment experience was the key. A problem arise though when game devs not experienced in the already set environment and settings (i.e. 3D) take part, because they don't have enough time to create a positive impact. I'd love that the next contestant I picked out after reviewing the game state, that would allow the game to flourish. I love how the fist 3 (I think) game devs all thought about Minecraft and strived towards a similar game. The sword attack added was also a really neat touch. It would be also interesting to get the game devs who participated in a "past-the-game" challenge to continue on their game, like a round 2.

Haha I appreciate it. We did put in a ton of effort and pretty much worked non-stop within the time limit. Ayy thank you so much! (I’m the dev you’re quoting haha) I was a musician before I was a developer so it’s awesome having this many people hear my music

It's amazing but... the fairy! 😮 They should have made it so the fairy can activiate portals but the enemies try to attack the fairy! Or control it to go in places you can't go using a magic flute! I like the idea of the sunstone, it is like you are Indiana Jones exploring a strange temple full of creatures to find it!

Buff and healing items sounds like a good addition plus new resources for them.

8:41 and thus the most unironically heavy banger song was made. the cymbals on every count is so fun to listen especially in the contrast of the snares that keep in a 4/4 ugh its so simple but so good lmao.

So cool man! Turned out really great. An idea I have is to release the game as open source and see if someone would continue on it 😄

here's another idea, every year (or every 6 months) do a community poll to vote for the best game that was made in that time frame in these challenges, and the game that wins gets the previous developers to work on it for a regular game dev cycle and then gets sold on steam based on what the community picked. I mean, if we vote for it, it means we wanna buy it right? lots of potential there
