To be honest Flow Studio being the last or middle dev to get the game honestly feels best. When they're the last dev they get the chance to see the direction the game took and polish everything up with a full man team. When they're in the middle they can provide some good infrastructure for every other dev to build off of without too much guess work. My vote is keep them working as a team because these games work out awesome with the extra man power for polishing.

Yeah I second this, that's the one thing most of these types of videos do that annoy me. Usually there's at least one person who takes the game and completely changes everything, which then the next person has to clean up that mess instead of improving the game with their own ideas. In this video that didn't happen which surprised me, but the original direction this game could have taken was immediately removed once the active ragdoll physics were taken out.

I don't mean this as a slight at all to the team as they are lovely people and do good work, but having a team work is kind of unfair to the devs who work alone, and goes against the point of not communicating. The team has a much bigger impact on the final product, way more than the others could, because they pool their effort towards to one cohesive vision. There's no disconnect between the team of devs, no reinterpretations of each other's ideas because they couldn't communicate and had to work one after the other. Like they are making the final product look very polished and cohesive, but it also takes away a lot of magic. If they had the first turn in a challenge, the game would be pretty much set in stone after they're done unless they intentionally left it rough. Idk, I would either let the other devs form their own teams to increase their impact on the project, or have the team take individual turns at different times, but I understand that might not be half as fun for the team.
