Hi there, I know you are a candle maker, but was wondering if you can answer some questions about skatewax. So I've been working on making diy skatewax at home, using silicone molds and Blended Waxes a.p. paraffin. My question is, are there any additives for both hardening wax and increasing its "lubrication"? I find that on hot days my skate wax gets too soft in the sun. So I'd like to harden it and if possible increase its slippery effects. You are such a pro with the info! thanks!

Hmmmm, definitely outside my wheelhouse. Buy upu could try vybar or stearic acid. Those can help harden but not sure the effect on slippery effects to be honest.

The world candle congress I believe is in different country between South America, U.S. and Europe every year. But the ECMA I believe has annual ones. It is the European equivalent of the NCA here in the U.S. biy I don't much about it

I live in South Africa and I have tried putting my candles in a few salons on consignment but they are not doing well. I do not get any leads from Instagram either only had some luck at my first market . Please would you help with marketing tips?

Strong branding. Make everything about your brand and then paid ads are the fastest way to grow. Otherwise... it just takes time.

Yes. It was around $2,000 plus about nother $1000 for hotel. Other than that... not really any prerequisites, although being member of NCA helps. :)

You can attend the conference without being a member, it just costs more. The world congress (this one) is only every 3 years. The nca has annual ones though. I brought the next is in charleston
