"Please don't leave me here" He's essentially begging (Insert deity) to choose his fate and not to leave him in limbo, "between life and death and time". That's deep as hell. Sometimes I wonder if LIFE is limbo, and our punishment for living past lives that were self-serving and not pleasing to whatever god exists.
@vilerecordings4754 жыл бұрын
So powerful. I see it also as he's begging for hell. In the first song of the album he realizes he isn't getting into heaven with the scream "I weep" He is then shown hell in all it's agony and finally the void which he say's is the worst hell (being alone for eternity). He's begging for hell over forever between life and death and time. I think...

I recently had someone I know die. I had a dream that we were camping and we were all sitting outside, a bunch of people, and as it got late people started laying down and falling asleep. I stayed up next to the fire along with a couple other people and I remember someone got up and left and as they left the fire went out and as I went up to it to blow on it to get it going again, I saw it was just ash. When I woke up I heard the news that this person had died. I listened to this song that morning on the way to work and it hit me. A light switched off.
