It’s just laziness. As he said he has all the money in the world. He could get a chef to cook all his personal meals, healthy but still delicious and he can hire a personal trainer to his own private gym at his own house. It takes him very little effort to get into shape and he can’t even do that. Pure laziness. He will regret it when he CANT play anymore and he thinks to himself “damn I didn’t even try”. All the potential and physical attributes in the world and he’s wasted it through laziness. There’s kids with nothing that would kill to be in his position.

No one is more accountable for Zion than Zion himself. Unfortunately, Zion has shown to be prone to injuries in the NBA. This also happened to "Little Penny." Penny Hardaway was like 80 lbs less than Zion at the same height. Penny was drafted #3, but you can argue #1 b/c he was traded for Chris Webber, who was the #1 pick in 1993. Penny started his career just like Zion -> BRILLIANTLY with HOF play and potential. Unfortunately, knee injuries took Penny's expectations away. This also happened to Greg Oden, who was drafted #1 in 2007 listed at 7" feet 275lbs. He ended up being injury prone early in his career and eventually had to retire from the NBA 7 years into his career. To me, that's what makes Shaquille O'neal sooooooo special. He was a taller and bigger version of Zion with the same tenacity and playing style as Zion, yet was able to have an 18 year career with close to NO major injuries‼️ Let's not forget when he was playing as a rookie in Orlando he was over 300lbs flying, running, diving for the ball very aggressively. In LA during his championship years his weight was over 350 lbs and still extremely athletic with minimal or no injuries‼️ Some people b/c of genetics are prone to injuries‼️

His body type just isn’t built for basketball, it’s not entirely his fault. It’s genetics. I think I might make my first youtube video and talk about this. In college we could already see he was big, abnormally big, but people only saw the positives to this, not thinking about the potential negatives. Nobody in history gets smaller than they were in college and maintains that throughout their mod twenties, late twenties, and the rest of their nba career. Because that’s not how metabolism works. You will only get bigger than you were in the prime of your metabolism. If you were a high level athelte during that time. No matter how much you work out. if we look at some of the best atheltes in the history of the game, Russell Westbrook, Lebron James, Shaq, they were all fairly slim in college/high school. Zion was already bigger than them in college than they were in their careers. And we know Lebron James is a workaholic who preseved his body better than anyone in history. He could never get to be as slim as he was in highschool. Zion was already jumping strenuously in times where he should be bouncing effortlessly, at duke. I called it then, I said he was going to be to fat as he aged. And Zion has worked to try and change this. We don’t see all the work he puts in. I don’t believe he is the slacker that everyone makes him out to be just because we see him with girls or whatever, like everybody else. His body is just not built for basketball, genetically.

That's pretty sickening mentality to think of man.

His weight is not the problem. The problem is the muscle to fat ratio. If he had more muscle and less fat, it would be fine. Also, the more teams fixate on it the worse he'll get. I know he's not at the listed 284 and is closer to 330 in real life, but he can turn that into muscle and operate in JJ Watt territory of weight if the emphasis is on muscle. Yes, I know the NFL's on the juice but so are some in the NBA.
