The best advice Harry O gave Suge (which Suge blatantly ignored) was to be the man behind the scenes. He knew that's where the real power is. Carlo Gambino and Meyer Lansky kept low profiles and were powerful in their own right. If Suge would've laid low and let the artists shine, who knows where Death Row would be today.
@Confucius2023 жыл бұрын
Well 2Pac was shining as much as a rap musician can shine in 1996...... Suge wasn't out-shining him at all...... so whatever happened, it must've happened behind the scenes..... Someone wanted Tupac and Suge dead - the company was worth 100 million at that time and someone wanted that money...... Maybe it was a combination of severel powerful individuals... Because you need A LOT of power for the cover-up.

@@butterscotchbuterscotch7227 People like East and Tupac were willing participants in the lifestyle they were trying to portray. That’s the result that most people get, death or jail. No one made Pac assault a killer crip. He wasn’t street smart, no matter how many people tried to warn him. He did it to himself. Easy , got caught up with some of the most ruthless people in that business. He knew it though, he named the label “Ruthless Records “. , he just never thought they’d turn on him. I think it’s quite possible they either set him up with a groupie they knew was infected or injected him with HIV. These rich rap dudes are so reckless in their behavior with drinking, drugs, sex, and violence it’s easy to take them down. They do all the hard work themselves. You can’t be that reckless when heading up a family, much less multimillion dollar company. At that point you have multiple families depending on you, not just your own. @GMacll Suge Knight never stole any money from Harry-O because as i said earlier he never gave any money into Death Row. Reggie Wright Jr said he has heard on a few occasions where Suge would ask David Kenner did Harry-O give any money and David would always so no he was broke after the trial. As far the Death Row artists Suge never stole from them in fact all of Suge Knight's Death Row artists were over paid. Death Row artists who had not sold one album were getting thousands of dollars a month, living in expensive apartment suites, driving expensive cars and getting all of their bills paid by Suge. One of Death Row's faults was not having a account deparment were the Death Row artists could see what they earn and what they owe.

Man that’s a damn good question right there frfr, it’s a dirty dirty game dey play boy frfr. I got one even better tho, if they (FBI, DEA, ATF) all made up this Brand New change fe called the RICO Act & Conspiracy, which was entirely made up for John Gotti after his 2 acquittals & 1 mistrial. They came up with Conspiracy but now they charge us blacks with Conspiracy over a 20 rock & boat out azz back with Federal time which is 85%??

It’s always funny to me when people talk with such shock that guys like Harry O & Suge experience success in business. They might have roots being street thugs but they also knew what had to be done to survive in their worlds. Both men I believe are highly intelligent and capable in the business world. But because they associated with street gangs people automatically assume they’re just hustlers without a brain which couldn’t be further from the truth.

True. They simply make their wealth rite in the same city and streets they raised in. They give jobs to the same of type ppl they always affiliated with. So ppl believe they’re limited to street knowledge, when they’ve made multi millions in their “self made” businesses faster than most corporate CEO’s
