This is a fan video that i can rewatch/listen so many times. It is perfection and it is the only good Blackwall video I've seen tbh. It's bringing back so many memories of my playthrough. This song was my mood when I discovered he had lied.

My sister mentioned never really having seen a very good "Blackwall" GMV, so I sent her this one. I'll admit I was hesitant to ever attempt one because after watching the in-game footage for the romance, I wasn't sure I could make one compelling enough, but you really made this work!! Congrats, and good job! :D

Wow, thank you! That means a lot :) I totally understand you! I tried to make a "nicer" video with him and Lavellan, you know, with a "happy ending", but I just couldn't finish them. Because for me the Blackwall romance will never be a happy ending. And when I heard this song, I could immediately see how I wanted the video to end. It's hanging in the air and it's the viewer's choice if he succeeded or not. That was the only way I was able to make the video. It couldn't have been done any other way for me. So, thank you again! I'm glad you liked it and I hope your sister did too :D

This is excellent, it captures his character and the romance so well, and I shared your feelings of betrayal when playing through this the first time :). I didn't like the way this romance ended either. For me, it wasn't that you had to forgive him, it was that you had to forgive him almost immediately after you learn the truth, not to mention having to decide during what was essentially a court proceeding just felt inappropriate. Forgiveness takes time. It would have felt more real to me if there'd been another scene a bit later where they have a frank discussion about things, or it's clear they've been having one (probably one of many such conversations they've had), and then you're given the option to forgive him and continue the relationship, say you haven't forgiven him but you're open to working on the relationship (leaving open the possibility that someday you'll forgive him), forgive him for the lie but don't continue the relationship, or don't forgive him and don't continue the relationship. I get why Bioware didn't do that, though; it has the possibility of being clunky and they had other priorities.

It would have been nice if you had more time to forgive him, I agree. It was too rushed and I was pissed my first pt and I didn't even romance him then. But I understand it probably wasn't a main priority. Took me a long time to play through his romance just because I knew what he would do lol x) But I'm so happy to hear you liked it! Thank you!

Dude i absolutely loved Blackwall. First playthrough i romanced him with a Female elf and was so sad, angry, and confused as to what to do with him after you know

I romanced Solas my first pt, but I always had Blackwall in my party. I felt very betrayed, I don't think I ever forgave him, hehe x)
