The only real downfall, beside separating Leroy and the price was if would take 30 to 40 minutes to get to where you wanted to start your Spyder ride.

I've gotta say these latest videos from Idaho have been mesmerising, the views and scenery are just breathtaking....the lake ride looked awesome , I'm sure it was better on the spyders than in a car , somehow you feel more connected on bikes than in a metal box , very beautiful though all the same ...the RV resort was ok , I'm only saying ok cos you guys have turned me into an RV park snob now , after seeing how fantastic some of them are my standards have had to rise 😊😂. Hi Marten. Yes this area of the country has turned out to be absolutely beautiful. We agree, a scenic ride on a Spyder or motorcycle is the way to go. Nothing blocking your view. I guess we have become RV park snobs too...LOL.

We stayed almost in the same spot as you at Black well. We also gave it C- minus. We now stay at Kootenai fair ground only $50. Great for big rigs.

We love Blackwell. It's a "B" for us. For a resort area, the price is fair. We love the 78 mile paved rail trail for the e-bikes. The proximity to town. Walking the dogs every morning on Tubb's Hill. And a great, affordable, lunch at the Buoy Bar & Grill after hiking. For more affordable accommodations there is also an Elk's Lodge. Coeur d'Alene is a favorite stop for us.

We decided to book there due to the proximity to everything as well. We knew we'd have to pay more for that and were willing to, but if we return, we may try to find something a little more reasonable.

Did you get vertigo while going around hwy 97 and seeing the roofs of the houses ? We did it in the dually the wife was on the cliff side 😮. We did the dinner boat it was fun accept it rained that evening. I looked at that park some of the reviews were not that good and it was more expensive than the park we stayed in Athol Id. If the winters were not so bad we would consider living there ! Glad you had a good time .

No vertigo for us. :) We probably wouldn't go back to that park because of the price and we had to put Leroy elsewhere. We really liked the Whitefish area and said if it weren't for the snow, we'd consider living there too. LOL

I agree with your CG rating, way to expensive at $89 a night for a glorified dusty parking lot. I wish you guys could have scoped out a few other camp grounds in the area for comparisons. Hey Dave, you gonna try the going to the sun highway in Glacier National Park, perfect for the Can Ams! It would be a real shame if you guys missed doing it while being right there.

We didn't scope any other campgrounds out while we were there. We did the Going to the Sun Highway and it was amazing. Video will be out in the future.

@@WattsOnWheels I feel safer at northern states, I got shot at as I was driving toward Pearl River, Mis. They were aiming for my head, they didn't calculated my speed, it hitted halfway down the trailer, good size hole, big caliber. Be careful out there!

Beautiful area, now run over by californians. Prices are pathetic wanna live there? You need $500K to start with for a regular spec home. Traffic is horrible now. Schools over run with too many got damn kids. We sold and move out. Winters are too long, too got damn cold and too much for my mental health.
