As Wen said, Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. However, Wesley snipes made an amazing Blade, I’ve been a fan of his since Major League and White Men Can’t Jump. The Blade TV series was just sad, because the guy playing Blade wasn’t terrible, but up against Snipes, he was just….meh.

Fun fact: Wesley Snipes choreographed all those moves himself. Since he is a martial artist, but of course blades fast. He's a Marvel Marvel character in antihero and he's have vampire have human he has all their strings but none of their weaknesses except for their thirst for blood. They call him today Walker because he can walk the Sun and they can't. Blade has done all kinds of stuff in the comics it's crazy. It's crazy how strong he is. I think it also has to be before she feeds on blood as well.

Blade is literally a perfect action movie. It's style influenced the subsequent Marvel Movies(X Men, X2, etc.) and action movies in general(The Matrix) of the late 90s, early 2000s. And it's success literally saved Marvel Comics for bankruptcy by giving them the blueprint on how to make a successful movie adaption of their characters. Also, Wesley Snipes is a certified badass and doesn't get the credit he deserves for his impact.

It was decent but the villain was kind of trash. The villains in 1 and 2 were both stronger and gave more of a good fight then Dracula himself. Considering the name I expected more. They focused too much on the side characters rather than blade. Nobody cares about Ryan Reynolds

It does help when the star of the movie is a legit martial artist playing a character like this. It helps sell the fighting so much more. Most actors that don't have the background in MA you can see it doesn't look right when that fight in movies. There are a few people out there are anomalies like Keanu Reeves where they really commit.

Two fun things. One, the actor who played Mr Crispy got his jaw dislocated on set and had to go to the hospital in makeup. Two, the people in the bags in the meat packing plant was part of an abandoned storyline of storing humans for food after almost the whole planet would be turned after the Blood God arrived. It was cut for time and pacing.

Fun fact: when Snipes was shot in the hospital scene and he says: "Motherfucker, are you out of your damn mind?!" That was not in the script and was genuinely angry due to them using REAL bullets by accident if I recalled that part correctly. Also the woman who was with that dude in the beginning of the film during the rave scene was Traci Lords. She's mostly known for her music during the fight scene between Liu Kang and Reptile in Mortal Kombat. Ironic part is you can see a small scene of it in this film.
