Hello , I also have this Heli . For some reason the Swash Plate will not raise when I throttle up to collective pitch. everything else works fine . Throttle , Rudder , Elevator and Aileron . The Swash Plate will raise if I push the Panic /Bind button . I am using the DXs transmitter that came with it . Thanks . love your video's

I have my model setup in my DX7g2 and when i hit the bind button and look at the monitor screen the correct value moves... Althought my rx is not responsive to this at all and my heli does not self correct. Fyi all all other stunt modes and rates work fine... Any ideas on what to do?

Another useful vid, thanks. I wonder if I could pic your brain, I am running a 230s on a DX6, set up as per manual and all working great. My only deviation is that I have reassigned gear to a separate 2 position switch so I can choose when to disable self-level rather than having it linked directly to flight modes. Again, all works great. My question is this, should panic button still work independently on original button or have I affected that by moving gear? My panic button (the original I button) failed your bench test in regard to moving the servos, although it does move the reading from -100 to 0 in monitor. Grateful for any help you might be able to offer.

Sussed it. When entering mixing screen on DX6 you have to select normal, not curve. This then allows you to set up mixing exactly as per 230s manual. I now get -100 to -150 on mixing screen when panic pressed in 3d. All bench testes passed.

I've setup my 230s as best as i good but it always seems to be in collective mode on normal mode and when i switched to stunt one and stunt two the motor doesn't even power up. the control surfaces are fine PLEASE CAN YOU DO A VIDEO ON SETTING UP THE 230S WITH THE DX9 PLEASE

3s 2200 is way too big, 3s 800 mah is what is suggested and gives me 5 min flights easily

I just got my 230s. It has the stock DXe Tx. Should it spool up in agility mode (the 2nd mode)? This is my first heli with Safe. I have a nano cpx which only has two modes so just wondering how this heli should behave in its intermediate mode. Thanks.

+Dingo06003 Both of my 230's had a hard drift in stability mode until I updated the firmware , did a calibration and trim flight. Also need to make sure the swash is level. Now it hovers perfectly in stability mode. When taking off in stability mode you do have to make some corrections until its off the ground. What my optional take off videos

+JJInvertedProduction Hi JJ Thanks for the reply. Love your videos, very helpful. my other issue is that when I flick it into agility mode it automatically turns the motor on and begins to gain head speak with no input. Is that normal? I thought it should only idle up like that in 3D mode. Thanks

I believe the bank and angle limits are in the stunt mode setups. My heli will NOT flip or loop in normal mode. Stunt mode 1 it will and the heli has more throttle curve and pitch Stunt mode 2 is the max throttle allowed and flips and 3d stuff are more done easily...
