Just a FYI for anyone trying to do Obsidian Serpent or some others that require old daily quests: They removed a bunch of side quests in the October 2018 update including the Obsidian Serpent outfit one "Encroaching Shadows". I spent like an hour trying to figure out why I couldn't get the quest until I figured this out. You gotta buy the outfits for zen beans in Mushin's Tower now.

As a beta player, a tip known to get obsidian serpent in a day (since its a daily so you're supposed to be able to try once a day) is to simply complete the quest until you face the final boss, then you wait for the guy you need to protect to die and kill the boss. This will mark the mission as failed, but you will still be able to get the drop (I paid gold to know this info, enjoy)

Awesome video. I know ill be farming for the Obsidian Outfit, and the Kaari. I think other outfits that can be obtainable are the Infernal Lord. as well as the Spider Fangs if you're lucky. of course can farm zen beans for some of them. There also the shroud that drops off the fetid priest...

Obsidian serpent can be bought on npc now, it costs a bit but if you lazy to farm you can buy it instead xD, my personal outfit gale force from achievement npc and the one from awaken necropolis or shattered masts, its pretty good on lyn and jin

Obsidian outfit's daily mission is gone, i had that outfit for my first account i farmed like 150-200 times and i did this when i was 35 or lower so it was pain in the arse, in a nutshell i still wnat that outfit how am I gonna take it?

It was added to the PvP merchant for zen beans. (PvP currency) like an hour of PvP (1v1 or 3v3) wil give you enough. Closest merchant is in mushins tower

I got obsidian serpent on run #35 and the hat and mask before the outfit in 27-29 runs if I recall. You can farm obsidian over and over by letting the boss lady spawn and let your escort guy die THEN kill the boss lady. you fail the quest so u can just go upstairs and get it again over and over

You should have explained for the Obsidian Serpent how to let the escort dude die so you can run the quest again. Also it can be bought for relatively few zen beans which is much easier.
