I stopped flipping probably 6 or 7 years ago directly because of the lack of good, affordable balisongs. I have more money now and the options have me excited again.

I'm kind of in the same boat. Last balisong I purchased was the qtrmstr mcfly. They only made 300 of them and it was more a collectors piece than a Flipper. Thing is soooooo heavy. I snagged up a nabalis trainer and can't believe how good cheap trainers are. Now I'm eyeballing a kraken. My folding knife addiction is already expensive but i wouldn't mind having a good Flipper or two

when you guys talked about people who stop flipping because they get bored - i think another aspect of that is that people get bored of a thing, quit for a few months or a few years, and then get bored of something else and come back. i know for sure that's how i interact with flipping, i wax and wane between checking out news and getting new knives and then just not caring all that much and just casually flipping and not keeping up

I have to be honest guys, I have over 20 balisong and have been flipping for over two years. Despite my experience, I still can't tell if a knife is blade bias, handle bias, or neutral...seriously how do you tell?

It's something that comes with experience, but unless someone points it out to you it can be tough to tell. Once you do though it'll be something that you're not sure how you missed. Handle biased knives have a lot of weight in the handles, rollover style tricks work amazingly. Blade Bias knives are better at fanning, and have more weight in the blade. Too much of this can make rollover style tricks difficult
