@shaheenyes Жыл бұрын
just curious, why do you intensely hate going to the cinema?
@MarkArandjus Жыл бұрын
@@shaheenyes Many reasons, but mainly people have no manners, they arrive late, check their phones, talk, laugh at inappropriate moments, make constant noise with their food, etc etc. Infact every time I watch this film, there is one scene that reminds me of a dumbfuck who would talk to himself at crucial moments. I would prefer not to have those memories when watching films.

Well done guys ! Massive respect on the CG humans. So was the CG Joi just used in the transition scenes, or was that actually a model of her used through the entire scene ( at 2:10 , is that a model ? If so, you absolutely fooled me . ) Also, as others have wondered as well, why not just lower the opacity and blend the two actors together, rather than use CG ? Massive respect !

Thanks. The main reason is to have volume. So every shot was actually filmed for real, but it also had to be animated to match the actress to generate the back of her and give the sense of volume. It is subtle in most shots but it was a lot of work and also tricky to get right. It was a team effort from multiple departments too. Glad you liked it :)

I liked the film, but it wasnt as good as the original imo. It was its own film, and very different form the original, granted its not the same period in time. it got a ton of acclaim for its visuals but even their i think it could've been far better. I know CGI can be great, but here they lost alot of what made the original spark. Tonally this also didnt feel nor look like LA. it looked like Canada. Dennis homeland. it looked European. even much of the extra actors looked European. what happened to the Asian influence of the original? the greatest achievement in this was cg Rachel. she was bang on, though i also thing the body double cast could've been better. the actress was no where near as petit and slender as Sean Young in her 20's. still it was an amazing achievement. again l liked the film, but it was its own thing, not the truest blade runner sequel i wouldve longed for.
