Hi Justin! No one can deny the influence that Blade Runner has had in the Sci Fi world. So I think it’s a win that they made this and that they’ve made two head sculpts. It’s disappointing to hear they might have to be repainted. The accessories are nice and the details on them look really nice. It’s making me want a version of Sean Young, Darryl Hannah and Rutger Hauer to go with it. Thanks for the video 💎😊

I bought this as soon as I saw it. I've wanted t a deckard in my collection for so long, and this figure is the best a company has ever made. The only other good looking options are extremely expensive customs. The scupt, while amazing, is a recast of the buffy deckard. But, with a little extra love, this figure can look incredible. Great review.

The clothing colours are exact to the films costuming, it's the situation of do you want the costume accurate to the prop or how it's shown on film. It's a great figure slightly let down with the waxy head sculpt but viewed from a regular distance, it's an excellent sculpt and a must have for any Blade Runner fan!

The head sculpt is actually really on point. Almost every angle, it looks like Harrison Ford! Much more expensive figures haven't captured his likeness this well. For the price point, 10/10. Would you be able to do a follow-up video showing how you updated the body and paint applications? Glad Blade Runner is getting some love in the 1/6th collectable universe.

I just finished distressing the figure. Used a black accent wash from tamiya and did the entire figure and clothing. Used a new body justin recommended bd001 I think its called. Bought replacement hollow sneakers, shaved the details off and Used filler to make em similar to the film. Added grime, soot rust from tamiya pastels. Used sem matt clear. Figure looks much better. Also added more blood on the second sculpt

Ford wore Addidas trainers sneakers in the film; they stripped off the logos and painted them black. So these shoes aren't accurate, as they look more like dress shoes. Also, the pattern on the collar should be at the edge of the collar, not in in the middle. Once I switched the body to a better one (with actual feet), removed and slipped the collar pattern down and replaced his shoes with some 1/6 scale Addidas trainers and painted them black, he looks great. As for the need to "tone down" his outfit, personally, it looks fine to me, as those were the the colors of his outfit in the film; it was just always dark during his scenes. But this is honestly the first Deckard figure that's gotten the colors right. And yeah, that head sculpt is fantastic. I think it's actually a re-mold of the Buffy Deckard head. As for the yellow-ish cast, yeah, it could use maybe some DRY-brushing of a better flesh tone, but OVERALL, I think it's a fantastic figure. Although I had to attach a little weight to the end of his tie, as that thing flies away like crazy.

Great review. I have this one myself. I did a water treatment on the clothes. After that the trench coat belt wasn't an issue. I think this is the best head sculpt out there. It is screaming for a proper repaint though. It obvious with it standing next to the Hot Toys Indy that we NEED a new Indy. It looks like a guy cosplaying and not Harrison Ford.

Thanks for the review Justin, I got mine and I’m mostly giddy to have a Deckard, and I do love the details on the wardrobe and accessories are excellent. I agree with your critiques here - that body is a floppy thing that’s really hard to pose - once you change out the body definitely share which you used so we can grab do the same!! Again thanks for all these amazing third party review!! And as much as this is not the perfect figure I would LOVE a Rachel and a Batty to go along with Rick, those accessories beg for a diorama.

I’m in the same boat as you Justin. I love the head sculpt, but it needs some touch-ups. It would be great to see the finished product once you’ve done your modifications to the head and see what body you go with along with addressing the clothes. Great video as always!

I like it Justin, but then I'm a glass is half full type of guy. ( see what I did there? ) the head sculpt really does have a Harrison Ford look, so I think DX got that right. Overall a nice purchase. Apologies for not interacting with last few reviews or making last month's Patreon payment. As my bank account had been hacked. All back to normal now. it's my second Deckard. I also have the old Redman Toys Deckhard. The new Dark Toys Deckhard is much much better. I put the Dark Toys Deckhard in the display with my other BIade Runner figures. And i also used the second head and put it on the Redman Toys Deckhard and created a diorama with the Voight-Kampff-Machine and all his other accessories and used the chair and desk which came with one of the dark knight jokers.

I love this figure, and absolutely love the head sculpt. Redman's version looks nothing like Ford Deckard. This one is the best out there and is now very hard to find on ebay. It might not be a 10/10....but it is an easy 9/10. Lol.

Right now the quality appears to be about on the level of an early Sideshow Star Wars figure, but w/a few mods I think it could potentially turn out pretty great. Had mine on pre-order for over a year. BTW, the box art on front is a poor-quality swipe of Karl Fitzgerald's magnificent poster.

Question....If I were to change out the body to a BD001, do I need the "narrow" shoulder, or "standard" shoulder one? I wondered if Harrison Ford has narrow shoulders....Just a thought! Hope someone can help me with this. I like my 1/6 scale figures to stand on their on with good support in the ankle areas....Or should I say...."briefly for picture shots".

I got the same figure from one sixth outfitters in nyc. What's a good replacement body for this type of figure. As far as the color, im going to tone it down by adding a black wash.

I like it.. I think the head sculpt looks great, but like Justin said.. the colors on shirt, tie, jacket and coat are just too darn bright. Darken the clothes up. And find a replacement for those aweful shoes.
