Small correction to the video: The swimming wasnt quite bad as I thought! For valve index users (like myself) you need to completely open your hand for swimming to work. It feels much better this way!

it also helps to move your arms quickly when you want to push yourself and then return them slowly so you don't push back

you can also use shards of pots or plates as a sort of improvised dagger which is pretty cool

an interesting thing to note is that leather is significantly harder to pierce with those sharp bits than with a regular sword or dagger, which is pretty interesting

For the swimming, assuming ur using an index, that might be it as for swimming it only works when ur hands are fully open. When even one finger is closed (which can easily happen when using index) it won't rly let u swim. Otherwise, yea maybe ur doing it wrong lol

The reason the swimming felt unresponsive is because carrying items slow you down while swimming to combat this put weapons in your inventory in the chest

The souds you will hear from killing enemies is 1 stabbing them directly in vital areas : head, upper chest, and neck, and it will sound a sharp clink/boom sound. very nice. 2nd one is when you slice the neck in one go, and it has a sword sheathing sound. very nice! I've also heard a much more solid boom sound from using blunt objects and one shoting people. you usually have to do a perfect kill to hear it. But it is so gratifying to hear that sound mMMMMMmmmMm beautiful

I used to use those gauntlet daggers in the unique weapons and use fire enchant to climb up walls and stuff your not supposed to. I climbed to the top of the pillars and shit was hard to do had to move fast and precise but always worked.

It'd be awesome if weapons had (optional) breakability/durability. Would make dungeon runs more interesting if you're being forced to switch through whatever weapons the enemy drops, and the wave survival gamemode would also be really interesting if you couldn't just settle on an overpowered weapon (like a spear) for the whole thing.

Here’s the thing with the new swimming update it can be very laggy and bad, but usually whenever I try and swim works fine, here’s a tip swim like you were in real life first hand out grab some water, knock sand out, grab some water or go under the water and move your hand side and then behind you and you’ll move tips for swimming

Nono, the thumbsticks are fully optional for when u don't want to swim with ur arms. It's either he's closing his fingers which won't let u swim or he's just doing it wrong. I always swim without even having my thumbs on the thumbstick
