A Guide on the latest rework for Soul Fighter (Earth)
When Dragonfury ends and you have 4 stacks, you can do..
RMB F - VVV - RMB F - Frost Stance - V 2 - Melee Stance - RMB X F VVV, or use Ice Coil if you had a reset, or didn't open with it.
You can skip using 3 VVV as an opener if you have 8set VT for 35% Dragonfury damage. I use it cause i only have 5set, and the extra Kingfist is more valuable from the first soul proc than Dragonfury this case.

Severinus3 I don't play pvp but I'd assume so. Getting three stacks in pvp would be unreliable. Before it made more sense for the burst damage so it's probably worse now :( but try it out and see how it works. Usually I get left with 5 stacks after dragonfury. I use it then, followed by vvv 3 vvv for that damage over two kingfists. I'm still getting used to it though so I miss it sometimes ^^ glad you like it!

Oh I meant pvp version (1hit) of kingfist in pve just for the faster animations to ramp up golden dragons faster haha

oh my bad. I tried this but idk if it's a bug but the kingfist didnt give me my cdr on z. i'd take the extra kingfist damage though

actually both of you are wrong. because Z now has just 30s cd, which is equal to GD's duration. first hit of kingfist/froststorm grants 1 stack of GD. so getting 3 stacks of GD is now POSSIBLE EVEN IN PVP, and so is using kingstrike/glacial froststorm. these are easier if ice coil is chosen instead of frost nova, as ice coil instantly increases chi to lv5 and switches sf to kf stance.

RMB + F > X first before going to fm stance to V+2 Then when you tab back to kfm stance your Iron shoulder will be up when you do RMB +F rmb + F > x > tab > 2 + v > rmb + F > VVV... TAB > 3 > VVV

Yup. it's best to save X for after though. RMB + F > frost stance > v + 2 > melee stance > RMB + F > X > VVV. Also this way, in the case where 3 (ice coil) is on cd, you can benefit from the crit damage + iron tiger ^^

Luis Ottavio if you can upgrade most of it at once, I'd say Raven. If not I'd say riftwalk. As for which is better I'd say riftwalk too, the only con is its the more expensive path.

can you tell me your opinion about ice SF lately? Im currently a ice SF but in my opinion earth sf profit alot from this rework, and im thinking of changing element due to this opinion but it may cost a fortune, so im asking for your advice and opinion about these element for SF

Son Long Nguyen well I don't play ice much at all, but I played ice after the rework and had a lot of fun using dragonfury with alluvion/rift. The new animations look really good too imo, I just dislike the framerate drop from so many frost storms :( we profit a lot, but ice is still a bit ahead I think.

in my opinion earth SF still profit alot from rework, but our server didnt update the rework version yet so i cant figured which element is better for SF after rework. Guess i will stick with ice since it's my fully built accessory, but thank for your opinion :D

As a player who just forked over about 10k gold in a reroll spree: Play what you like, at endgame the dps difference is negligible. I used to play Ice but changed to Earth with the rework, and tbh I am enjoying every second. The money required to reroll is insane, so think it through first. I'd heavily recommend that you try doing a few dungeons using your ice gear on earth build, and also spend an hour or two in moyun parse heaven. What damage you actually do doesn't matter, you just need to make sure you enjoy the micromanagement that Earth requires. That, and if your ping is high, you're really going to suffer on ice coil -> Kingfist and/or general rmb F F anicancel. Other than that I'd really recommend Earth right now, especially because the rework left Ice with what I'd call Clunky Right Punch. For some reason it just doesn't feel as good anymore in my opinion. And Ice Helix can be slow to activate. Earth has quickly made me enjoy bns again, after not having enjoyed it for months. It's so fresh and new, and really flashy, I love it.

Yep! but because the modifier doesn't go above 30% focus chi reduction, i think later stages of Aransu will be better than Storm (just my guess :D) Riftwalk rotation is so much more fun and smooth though, i'm tempted to revert to Storm just for the enjoyment of it.

My rmb's feel like snails and i keep getting an annoying f procs that dont give chi... am i doing something wrong i honestly dont know what im doing my ice dps seems to be 270k.... earth 180 and drops off 120k ish :sob:

Absolutely. we still have our Divine Dragon bonus at least till new bracelet, and the extra kingfist/dragonfury is insane damage. And yep! i think that is better though, since stacks could run out if out of combat for too long in older patches anyway. :)

Can you pls tell me macro Settins, this looks a lil bit hard for my old fingers^^ You said you are against simplified combat mode and i was using that. My SF only exist a couple of days, so i am an amateur...

Unfortunately, i've never used a macro so i can't really help much. I would first recommend changing keybindings into something more comfortable, as the default ones are pretty meh (mine are whacky, but i find them way better) If not then maybe using a controller? it will be difficult to learn but it shouldn't strain as much :) I think now with sf you would probably need multiple macros too.

DelischesLP it's easier than it looks once you try it. Just a lot more to manage. It should work with any gear but it will be slower cause of less resets, less dragonfury and no cdr for Z. You will be using rmb f much more then cause of the downtime :)

Nope. It might be a small dps gain but it's negligible :) For me it just helps me keep better rhythm. Also guessing they will keep buffing frost stance skills so eventually it could become better than it is right now
