I agree that the hawks look better once you alter them. But its nice that you can stain the handle how you like. The blade coating is just to protect it and you can easily take it off like you have. Yours looks wicked thou!! Great job!!

Good tip, thanks. I have a screw in the pouch. I always thought of it as keeping it from falling off, not keeping it from getting stuck, but it makes sense. Had to put that thing in a vice to get it off...

I forget which one, but its one off the small Blind Horse Knives. Check out the "proper use of a Ferro rod" video... He uses it in that and I believe says what it is". I dropped the ball there...I should have included that and his BHK PLSK-1 in the video.

Do you ever buy Strider fixed blades? They are beefy, expensive, sharpened tactical pry bar type knives but they're so fucking cool. Thanks.

Not personally a fan of the Kukri. But I might give it another shot when they release the new Kukri Machete this year.

I've used a WW2 kabar for deer hunting for years. It guts great, it skins great, it disassembles great, and is really good for cleaning the genitals off a male or female. In a lot of wars guys have gotten down to using their entrenching tool for a defense weapon.

Cool video, I've always liked knives myself, as soon as I was of legal age to buy knives that's where some of my money always went. Have you ever used a Buck Buckmaster? That is my all time favorite, hard to get though. Keep up the good work

Not unless I find a local "gun guy" that is knowledgeable. I have stayed away from guns just to keep myself at least lower on the government shit list. I can tell you for an absolute fact they are all over these channels and fb pages, though I'm not going to give the specifics of how I know that. Doesn't matter how tame you are.

Oh bloody hell! I just watched a Equip2 Endure video called "What is the best survival knife?" where Adam had a bunch of knives out on a table with a camo cover. Eff me...I hate looking like I copied someone! Swear to God its coincidence!

I'm no tree hugger and I'm usually don't care about smaller stuff but I can't believe he threw the spear into such an amazing LIVING tree!! I won't beat Chris over the head with it because it probably just slipped his mind. Sorry for the rant guys! Love the videos Chris! Better then the survival shows on TV I kid you not.
