Yes and no. They Veyron came with two keys. The Valet key (a cheaper key destined to Valets, which is basically a Jetta Key) and the actual Owner's key (which is a lot better looking and feels more expensive... likely is more expensive too).

Didnt really like it at first, but now I think it's awesome. The fuel pump needs to be replaced, cause right now if I'm stopped at a light or something I have to give it boatloads of gas and almost dump the clutch to not stall. I know that's bad for the clutch, but I can't be stalling all the time, cause people think I'm just on my phone or something not paying attention, rather than driving stick.

How is using a Crown Vic engine a bad thing? That 4.6 Modular V8 was insanely overbuilt, probably like the 2 Jay or a bit less. It can handle ludicrously high horse power. It's just that the motor is cheap and reliable and that's why you see it in cheaper cars. Remember that a lot of grocery getters used to have a 2JZ back in the 90s.

My dad just recently got a 2005 lotus Elise with only 900 miles. It has an I-4 Toyota engine, but it’s the power to weight ratio that really makes you forgive it. The exhaust also sounds amazing

I play the drums and the badge thing actually applies here too. Drums, like cars, have metal badges on them as well that indicate the make/quality of the drums. For the longest time, high quality drums use nice metal badges that really show the craftsmanship and quality of the drum, just like a porsche badge, but now some big name drum companies are starting to put stickers on their drums instead of badges. It’s just ridiculous that you’re buying the cream of the crop product and you get a sticker instead of the nice thick badges you used to get

Maserati must be having the best percentage of earnings per car out of any brands, they sell their cars often for 100k+ and probably spend just 30-50k on cost per car on average. But people see them in a similar way as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani and other high end italian brands, i guess simply because they are italian, have mostly good designed cars, exotic name, high price.

666 BRLN 999 yeah but the problem is the reliability, people eat that repairs for a lambo or Ferrari. But not from Maserati. That’s why they sell way less cars and now have to rely on sales from an SUV that is an Alfa Romeo with a different logo. I don’t see Maserati being in the car-selling-business for another 20 years with their attitude of thinking they are an exotic but just are not.

In Canada, reverse cameras are mandatory on new cars. Those without cameras have the grandfather clause, but every car made after 2016 now requires a camera.

Those tail lights would cost millions and months to design with in-house work to get DOT approved. I think that’s why they go with reliable (although cheap-ish) off the shelf bus lights. I’ve actually purchased and currently own the Diablo/F1 tail lights, and for the four came out to be around $500. So not exactly cheap, but not crazy expensive either.

12:09 this reminds me of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 where on the first couple of races you have three options to chose from for what car to drive: - Opel Speedster - Vauxhall VX220 - Lotus Elise I was eight years old, when I first played this game and ofc it didn't take long for me to figure out the first two were the same car, just one of them with the roof off and the Vauxhall was right-hand drive*, but when I learned after playing this game for 13 years, that the Speedster/VX220 was just a Lotus Elise in disguise, man it was like on of those "my childhood was a lie" moments, lol! *Fun Fact: ingame the VX220 actually used the same interior model from the Opel, so the steering wheel was actually on the left. The only indication of it being right-hand drive was the position of the reversing light and the fog light being switched.
