Ritual support is getting better. These monsters deserve holo reprints. Even with the restiction the Impcantation are very strong they make ritual decks a lot better and more consistent. Hope we get more support. Monarch ritual decks would be very sexy

This Impcantation stuff can summon Amorphactor Pain, which Skips your opponent's main phase 1 on summon, so that's also a pretty scary thing.

Unicore+NuDemise+NuRuin = 3 Monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle and card effect that negates extra deck monsters and you can boardwipe with no worries about your field.

It's a great card, but it isn't as essential as the Impcantation effect monsters. If you want to look at it that way, then it's either a recycler with added damage or it makes the deck viable to link summon. But as the ritual mechanic is inherently bad at doing so (except for Vendreads because they're zombies with floating effects) the Impcantations won't fix that just like that. If anything, this card makes ritual decks way more grindy and can enable OTKs as it can - on its own with it's effect - put out 7000 damage. The fact that it's a link 3-4 right out of the gate is good, really good, but doesn't make rituals a good link-spam-deck. It just increases the toolbox factor of all modern ritual decks by a lot, which will make Nekroz, as well as many undersupported ritual monsters, much better.

I just use candle/plant to get chaos max then use creature swap and give them a candle or plant then chaos max attack them for game xD

After watching the video, yeah it's true this thing can add more variety to what impcantations can do. At first I thought you'd argue that Impcantations would be their own deck thanks to this card letting them link spam, but that's a little silly with the restraints getting to that combo would have. Not to mention I never thought of Impcantations restrictions to ritual smmoning being an inherent issue, since most of the time the decks that can make use of them like Shinobirds and Nekroz can use all of them as they please. (Especially with things like Nekroz Recycle). As a combo piece in Danger I think it's possible it can work, but I don't think it offers anything not offered by Warriors, and not outdone by warriors. The concept is good but I still doubt it can work out in practice.

2:30 You can't get 4 mons this way, they are returbed to deck at the end phase of either player's turn. It still makes for a great chump blocker on your opponent's turn. This card is extremely good honestly I'd say it's good enough to make Impcantations their own deck using other ritual mons as tech cards instead of the other way around :P

As much as I like your videos this one is so off the mark that I have to disagree, the "problem" (as you call it) that impcantations have is not a problem at all because this archetype was simply designed to be a ritual support engine and nothing more, if the impcantations didn't have the "cannot summon from the extra deck" restriction then the whole archetype wouldn't be used as it was intended and instead be abused by links which would be quite degenerate, and the abundance of resources as you call it are supposed to be the ritual materials, even chaliceslime and crealtar are meant to be support and not their own monsters despite their high attack points, so yeah that's it

Are you sure it lets you summon from the extra deck? I’m pretty sure that the impcantation restrictions are conditions, not effects which means they wouldn’t be negated. I think we need to wait for proper rulings on this.

It's a continuous effect, we know this because when a card is announced, the text in the OCG will place it above any effect restriction, and here in the TCG, it would be placed first on the cards not last. One fairly recent example would be Flash Charge Dragon, your inability to summon monsters it points to is a condition.

am i the only one who thinks that impcantations dont really need the extra deck? they are a great ritual engine and with good monsters that give searches and give resources meaning that they are good for lots of ritual decks. the plus to ritual monsters is they dont need the extra monster zone, so creating zones is not needed meaning you are basically only linking to either get effects (which is good) or getting a boss monster, this monster has 3000 atk and makes beaters, and the other cards do lots of great effects, doubling up with the fact that they are also good with other ritual decks that do have monstrous effects but sometimes lack in getting them on the field, impcantations are all about getting things on the field to ritual summon so i perfectly understand the point of restricting

let me inform you impcantations can be negated and then you can summon monsters from the extra deck for those of you who think its a condition it is not it is a continous effect also 2 lvl 6 get beatrice you can use it to dump the ritual spell then get it back to your hand then search any ritual monster basically everything you need to summon anything lmao,2 lvl 4 make the new utopia combo out hit for 10k to otk ,2 lvl 5 make "number 5 doom chimera dragon" it will be 2k atk but it can hit everything then becomes 3k atk then 4k and so on. sauvris chaos max nekroz of trishula and unicorn i swear this deck with zaborg is always gonna be fuck your opponent's extra deck and then imma plus 3 if you resolve zaborg idk how you won't win right then and there.

What's the point is using Crealtar's hand effect at the end of your opponent's Main Phase 2? You won't trigger any Impcantation effects and they'll just go back to the deck during the End Phase. So all you did was discard a card.

What you forget is that it's already a lvl 10 ritual monster, a monster that you will not summon while having many impcantation on the field. Furthermore, as long as the ruling on the impcantation isn't stated, you can't know if it gives you the possibility to extra deck summon, it could perfectly be as Dreary Doll that cannot be used for xyz summon a non gimmick puppet monster even if it's effect is negated And to finish, you missread the effect. While you + 1/2 on your opponent's turn with the discard effect, the monsters are shuffled back into the deck during the end phase, meaning that you just - 1 in the process. Over all this card is pretty bad compared to the rest of the archetype, as the field spell that gives you a pop per turn isn't really worth running compared to things like preparation of rites, mega zaborg, impcantation effect monster or the lvl 7 ritual one. You already have to go over 40 to fit the engine in a ritual deck like Nekroz, you can't expect people to run 2 cards that doesn't extend your plays that much compared to other generic ritual support

If the Impcantations restriction is a condition, then this card is still alright, bring back some guys, set up ritual plays, apply pressure, etc. Still alright. If they are continuous effects, however, this card is really good. The access to Links is really great, and adds spot removal on the spot. However, I think this card is overrated imo so far. You have to consider that unless you have multiples, you will most likely not have a bunch of monsters on the field, as you will mostly have used your Imps on the field to summon this guy. So I believe this card is good, but not 'broken'

So I did some checking around and it might not negate the you cannot special summon part. Half the sources I found state it's a condition meaning it cant ever be negated but others a contious effect. Might wanna wait until we get a official ruling in the TCG

@@DallySkyeAnims condtions are weird. they dont always follow a pre-set rules to tell them. generally speaking you can tell if there near the bottom of the card but this isn't always true as sometimes its on the top and in the middle. tbh i would just say read up on the wikia as it explains it fairly well ( though dont relay heavily on the wikia it can be misleading on some thigns )

As Cybernetic Horizon came out in the OCG Konami published rulings for the Impcantations that stated that "The effect of "You cannot special summon monsters from the extra deck" is not classified as a trigger, quick or continuous effect". This basically means that it's a condition as well as an effect, which means that it can be negated (there even was a question what happens if you negate the effect of Talismandra and if you could special summon in that case - the answer was yes). You should find the rulings in the ruling section on ygoorganization, but it might take a minute to find it as the page in question is over half a year old by now.
