What makes you say they are lip synching? I have alternate footage of this which is definetly live which I recorded from TV. The music starts with Punxsie and goes into Hey Little Boy, which is the opposite of what we have here. There is also an Interview. It is from Blah Blah Blah with a young Andrew Denton......anybody like to see it?

Awesome, thanks! There's not a lot of live stuff around from the "Temperamental" period.

That does not mean they are lip synching. Still not convinced. I have compared the two clips and they are slightly different. Maybe its a backing track with a live vocal. I will have to compare the clip with the album cut.

no worries - i think i have another couple from the prvious year where they played in a derelict house... still looking

Oh I hope you do! I was there. It was my mate's house in Petersham. It wasn't exactly derelict, but they were stripping the hell out it because they were doing a major reno. You could apply to have the show filmed at your place. BBB chose the house because it was in the state it was, and they could do some gags where they pretended they accidentally damaged someone's house, but also because there was a vacant block next door to put the band. I met the entire band in the kitchen which was awesome, I was so in awe of Chrissie, such a cool chick. Anyway, my mates were only allowed to invite about 100 people, but of course once the band started pounding it out in a high density suburb, people came running from everywhere. As with all BBB shows, that episode had a theme, which was Violence. I was interviewed and got on the telly. ;-)

@@sallybell9548 Hey Sally, nice to come across another person who was there that evening, I lived two doors up from the house they chose a beautiful two story federation, the bbb show advertised on a previous show that they were looking for a place to have the gig & this place was selected for the amount of space it had, a whole block of land right next to it, iirc, three young dudes bought it not long before & you're right, they were in the midst of renovations at the time so the house was pretty stripped back, I ended up going because the guys sent a leaflet out to nearby neighbors giving us a heads up about the noise & inviting us to pop in, also saw James Valentine there, he had a pretty big ego at the time lol The Divinyls were phenomenal that night, no lip synching at all, just a powerful gig. good times.

no camera on Chrissie on Punxy (bad lip sync)

PS There is also an amusing power failure between the 2 songs

yes, Punxie is a bit of a mess - there's more of the cameramen in shot than the band! also, you never see Chrissie in closeup

Interesting, they did Hey Little Boy live and lip-synched Punxsie...
