(wiki)Stan Soble A.K.A. Stan Lee (born 24 September 1956) is one of the founding members of The Dickies and has been their lead guitarist since they formed in 1977. Many Dickies fans would claim him to be the best guitarist in punk history. They had a UK Top 10 single with 'Banana Splits' in 1979.

I had no idea, that I could possibly love, Stan Lee, anymore than I already do. WELL, after this, I like him much, much more. Be the greatest Stan, I learned how to play, watching you. If that scares you, it shouldn't. You're very good and nobody will ever show up to see any band I'm in, anyway. You are really, really underrated. Much love Stan!

The Dickies rule, but besides being a great cartoon punk band, Stan is a solid rock guitarist. Knowing that he just started playing guitar around the time he heard Ramones to being able to pull off his version of the "paranoid" solo just few years later is f'n impressive!

I don't know why i always assumed the dickies were drug free. I spent the 1990's on the Chinese rocks myself
