I'm not saying you're wrong, but aren't you glad they came back? Just because they are changing up their style doesn't mean they aren't Fall Out Boy. Take Panic! At The Disco for example. It went from I Write Sins Not Tragedies to Crazy=Genius; two totally different songs within the span of a few years. You never know, Fall Out Boy might go and explore with the Punk genre a little more, but be glad they are happy with what they're doing and that they are still a band. They have some really epic songs coming our way and I would never give up an opportunity to go to another one of their concerts.

Anything can be rock and roll. Rock doesn't have to be guitars and screaming. Rock is anything that is different or pushes the limits of music. Both pop and rap music can be considered as Rock. Check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The literally have people in there like Jay Z, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift. Rock music isn't a specific genre
