First met Bill on Hitchhiker's Guide at The Rainbow Theatre in 1980. He made the rayguns while I made masks. In 1997 he came and made special props for me on the Isle of Man for Space Island One. He was a laid-back, funny guy. Talented and taken too soon. RIP.

Bill Pearson.... Legend and his name will certainly live on through his work 😎. I never met him but he just comes across as a really good, down-to-Earth bloke.

I loved Blake 7 as a kid, and still today I would prefer to watch a model ship/puppet alien over CGI any day, Yoda is the perfect example he looks far better as a puppet than as CGI

"The closest we can get to immortality" Sums up the passion of men like him to do what they do not just for money, but for the love of it.

Terry Nation's original pitch was "The Dirty Dozen in Space." A great series.

Always happy when another one of his tidbits shows up in your posts. I love his laid-back way of storytelling.

I believe Paul Darrow bought the rights to B7. Sadly he has passed so no idea who could reboot it now. But that would be very hard to do as they all died.

Blake's 7 was awesome! Loved the story, very tense. Ofcourse I was a kid then, now it looks very funny.

Your name being on screen is sadly left to the discretion of the films producers. Many people work on huge films doing loads of skilled work and are left nameless on the credit roll. Mind you with the advent of Netflix and streaming services no one ever looks at credits now. The click box is sending you to the next series of Squid Games instead. Lovely..NOT

I think the London was by Matt Irvine. Not Positive, but if so, it adds to the pedigree of the show. Unfortunately, I have never been able to get the series.

Blake 7 was not so magnificent seven, more like Robin Hood.
