This is the song that enraged people? I know that this has been a tough year for many people, but I feel like people took their frustrations out on Blake. I personally like this song, and I think that if it came out before covid, then it wouldn’t be an issue at all. If you really knew what Blake Shelton is all about, then you would know that he always helps out especially when people are going through tough times. A few examples are when cities in Oklahoma were devastated by tornadoes, he did something about it and organized a tv music event to fundraise for those communities, and this past year, he chose to support Oklahoma’s food bank for those that were affected immensely by covid’s economic devastation, has donated $600,000 to help children with cancer, and pays for hotels for many struggling artists to help them out. Those are just of the few things out of many that he had done. I do pray that ur year becomes better and that God will help provide for all of your financial needs.

@@arcticFolder The comments that I read when this song first aired on New Year’s Eve were because of the words, “Your love makes me feel rich on minimum wage.” People were saying that they felt that he was insensitive, that he wasn’t in touch with reality because people had lost their jobs or were barely making it due to covid, and how can a millionaire sing this song about getting by on minimum wage when clearly he knows nothing about it. They said more, but that was the main argument. They felt enraged and disgusted by this song and that it was a very poor choice. I hadn’t heard it, because as soon as the comments negative comments started flowing in, it was pulled off of KZbin. I tried to look up the words to see why people were upset, but all that I found was the title. Then yesterday, I saw that the lyric video was on KZbin and listened to it and I was quite surprised how this could anger people to that point. I do understand that it has been a difficult year. I am working more hours to make the same amount or a little less, but I am thankful that I am still working, so I understand about the year and feel for those who have truly had tough financial difficulties. I just think they were taking it out on the wrong person.

Yes I know Eric but was really distracting this guy from other women, thinking he’s likely harmless so didn’t really want to run him in. He really DOES need to stop this though. I’m a softie, but although he keeps changing his name, it’s all coming from his area. I did talk to him into the morning as I was home laid up that week quarantined. A quick call and he would have been picked up as many work from home now. Tracked to a female answering machine, and again did him a kindness and said wrong number; hung up. Guess I should have handed him over to the guys that night but I understand people are SO BORED with this Covid! Many acting out of character. Good call sister. Stay alert as many women are getting phones and computers hacked like this, some getting themselves into worse trouble. That night he was using a pic of Eric thanking women for the special comments, individually of course. Another ruse I wanted you to be alert about. He imitated him very well, I must say. I did send him my phone numbers at first, thinking Eric had lost mine since we happen to be acquainted. But a couple comments I knew this guy didn’t know me, so not Eric.
