Beautiful song. First time I met T-Roy was in a hotel parking lot in Denver... the crew was hanging out in the parking lot having a BBQ. (A dear friend of mine was part of the road crew.) I was asking who all the different folks were and when I pointed at T-Roy, my friend smiled (as T-Roy smiled at me too), he heard me ask... my friend pointed at his truck and said “ He is the Gentry part of the band. I chuckled and said what? You mean the band members hang out in the parking lot and BBQ with the crew. I assumed they would be off at the fancy Hotel somewhere else. Lol lol. Troy was always a kind gentle humble soul, the real deal. Several years later I had the privilege of being on tour with M&G one fall. It was a shear joy to work with T-Roy and the whole gang. Some of the best folks I ever toured with. A true blessing. We greatly miss you. RIP

I never got the chance to see Montgomery Gentry live but I was and always will be a huge fan of everything they did. When I found out about Troys passing I was brokenhearted. Such a great talent whose life was cut WAYYYYY TOO SHORT.

Forever Rest In Peace Troy ♥️😇. This song here was the very first song I listened to and posted onto My Facebook. just minutes of My Dear sweet precious Daddy passing away 😢💔2-15-15 . , It was only 27 hours after My Birthday (( Mid February)), shouldn’t be so scary 😢💔. My Daddy was the best ! I’m the youngest of 8 ,& I was a wooopsie baby , LOL 😂. Daddy was 45 & Momma 41 whenever I came along . Yes “ The Baby “ really hits home !

I believe I read he did not want to release it due to the pain of singing it regularly if he gad released it. Since he and Miranda are no longer together, I assume she wont be singing it which is sad…it’s such a beautiful song, I think his best one ever. Hopefully he will sing on occasion if not we have this great video on KZbin. Thanks Blake
