I remember being bit by one of these I was working on a Horse farm where they trained Horses for show and they had a service road that went around the 22 Achers I was cutting the grass with the zero turn and there was one in the middle of the road when I stopped picked it up to look at it it bit me in the Forehead they have a pretty long bite reach I realeased it in the little ditch on the side of the road when I got back to the main area where the stables were My boss asked me what Happened I said I got in a fight with a soft shell Turtle LoL.. I was fine cool first encounter tho...
