This was actually the most helpful review on the Internet for a Milwaukee blower..... Friggin nailed it

I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. kzbin.infoUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

Good comparison. Think I'm going to go with the mini 18. I need something small for dust, wood dust, some leaves around the door (not doing my yard or anything), and dusting computer equipment. The mini 18 looks streamlined in terms of design and looks ironically more ergonomic and compact than the 12. The large 18 is just overkill for me, want something compact. Thanks for this comparison!

I own a couple m12 tools the blower being one . I noticed I get more power out of the 4.0 and the 6.0 batteries, especially when it comes to the stubby impact, the 6.0 is my go to, and yes the batteries do cost more but they last 3x longer than the little 2.0 or 2.5 batteries.

Thank you for comparing all three, very helpful. I just need one to blow out dust in our garage… and I think the m12 would work… but the m18 seems to still be the best choice 🤙🏻

Thanks, that has helped a lot, as a carpenter I generally only use one to clean up my tools and myself, and was curious as to which one to buy. Based on this review I will go for the m18 compact. No need for blowing leaves, so no need for the bigger one, and m12 seems a little under powered.

I have the M 18 fuel large blower already. I’m a handyman and I am always looking for a compact version of everything. I was thinking about getting the M 12 blower but, however, I think I’ve seen this video. I’m better off staying with my big and 18 because I don’t want to have to put in the extra effort and batteries just to clean up my job site.

Where this m12 blower really shines (and was likely designed for) is blowing off your M18 table saw, or M18 miter saw on the job site, before putting it back in your truck. I use the M12 blower in my shop all the time. If I used my big-boy M18 blower, I'd have sawdust everywhere. The little M12 guy gets the job done, without scattering sawdust everywhere. It does a really great job of cleaning sawdust off your tools before storing them. As a side note, (this is off-label use, so Fauchi would probably try to imprison you for doing this) if you need to stoke a campfire, THIS is the tool for the job!!! I can smell those rib-eye steaks cooking already...

I’ve been using a gas powered backpack blower to dry my cars after washing. I’ve got some m18 tools, so I think I’d like to add an electric blower to my collection. Which would you recommend to dry a vehicle after washing?

Definitely the fuel M18 big one the others don't have enough juice to really move smaller drops of water.

I needed a blower to clear rocks and debris from under cars, dry my car/engine bay, blow out the dog hair from the car, fires/blowing out grill and general cleanup. I bought the m12 and wondered if the 18 full-size was the way to go. I noticed the m12 still sucks your shirt into the intake. I still might get the m18 going forward.

Is the smallest one enough to dry a car after wash ?
@BlakesGarage2 жыл бұрын
It will move a little water but nowhere near the amount the big one does. I originally bought the M18 Compact for that but quickly upgraded to the M18 Fuel Blower as it would actually complete the task.
@lunch21022 жыл бұрын
I use my m18 compact blower to dry my car after every wash, with a fully charged battery it takes about 20 minutes but I am particularly fussy, I even dry the tyres, the rubber nozzle is particularly convenient, on more than 1 occasion I've gotten too close and thought to myself, thank fook that's rubber and not plastic. Note: the car I completely dry with the blower has a ceramic coating which makes it easier to move the water, my cars that aren't coated just get a general blow and then finished off with a drying towel

why is the compact m18 listed as 160 mph, while the full size m18 is listed as 120 mph (on home depot)
@mmettej Жыл бұрын
The compact is designed for fast air speed with low air volume, the leaf blower is designed for high volume and mid speed. Which you need for leafs or bulky stuff. Full size works better for snow too
