I’ve got an all original 1968 Coronet (superbee) in my garage waiting for me to finish building the 440 upgrade for it etc. I’ve searched a bunch of exhaust videos looking for the sweet spot for me exhaust sound and came across this. Of course there are many variables that define a vehicles exhaust sound but your video is an excellent example of your set up. Now you have me looking to change the stock exhaust on my Ram Hemi as well. Son of a 🤬! Excellent video😁.

Yes the Super 10 is definitely an awesome muffler and the Super 44 is more free flow in my opinion. It was definitely hard to choose from the two and you definitely cannot go wrong with either muffler. 🙌🏽

I remember when I put true dual exhaust system on my old 1999 dodge ram regular cab short bed with a 318 under the hood and it was as loud as it would have been straight piped but I had to have mufflers on my truck for inspection !!!!!

Oh i also suggest a tuner to..I have had no issues with a diablo with pcm on my 16,other than my own doing..I suggest a tuner/ pcm and do a can tune till you can do some data logging then email it to hemi fever or jay green to sweeten it up..Re the pcm part..Find a matching smashed truck like yours and save some $ and get the used stocker reflashed for your truck..Buy the tuner seperately and save enough to cover the cost of a custom tune..Be sure that who ever flashes the pcm to your truck that you also buy their tuner..Dont think you can have one brand do the flash and another brand of tuner..

Some comments saying that you cant break in a chambered muffler wich im not disagreeing with,however,I think there is a line of thinking out there that as the muffler is in use it gets carbon build up from the fuel rich exhaust wich in turn takes some of the hollow metal sound away.so in that sense you can break in these flow master mufflers.by the way nice truck my friend and may you have a great day.

Hello Cleveland, you probably gonna have to remove the mid pipes in order to get a much louder and deeper tone out of the 5.3 and I betcha she’ll sound like a beast then. Also make sure you remove the resonators if you haven’t already. And see if they have an AFE intake for your vehicle online. Cheers mate 🍺🍺

Chief Joe, There’s no noise in the cabin at all. You can honestly carry on a conversation with a passenger or over the phone without interruption from the exhaust. I chose the Super 10 over the 44” due to the Deep rumble when you hit the accelerator, it’s honestly like no other. And it’s a very distinct muffler, sounds like no other. This video does this muffler no real justice, wish you could hear it in person. 😎

That flap you took out will also increase your fuel mileage in cold weather. The engine will get warmer air to lean the fuel out. In summer leave it in so you get cooler air. Truck Sounds Great!

I love Dodge! They are very durable the truck I have was flooded in hurricane Harvey and Tropical storm Imelda and it still runs and drives like a champ the water was just about two inches from the kick panel I couldn't believe that the stereo speakers still worked too! Lol and of course everything else the nice lady I got it from disconnected the battery when the water level started to rise and also she dried it out completely then started it right up amazing I am very proud of my tuff 💪 Dodge ram it may not be the V8 but she still gets up and goes regardless of the whiners who bought a 3.7 and expect V200 performance lmao UPDATE and also I know oh my gosh he's gonna have so many issues cos the truck was flooded.....well I don't she runs great and the interior is still like new

Hemi baby that's all I can say! I have a 2014 crew cab, looks like that same model. Here in California its the "Sport" model since they stopped making the R/T. As the dealer said same model, different name! The hood scoop really makes a difference, kind of sets it apart from the others, that's what I like about mine. Question, what cold air intake are you running? I think most cold air intakes are outlawed in California. I'm just using a K&N filter. Also are you just running a straight Super 10 cat back? Nice video!

Hey what up, Mr Ortiz! I am glad to answer your questions. I have an AFE Intake, also I am running a dual Super 10 muffler. I think it's called dual in/ dual out. Coming straight from the catalytic converter. Also the muffler guy sprayed painted my pipes to match the muffler, awesome people. And thank you so much for looking and commenting on the video!

@@markmorrison8477 You are right, they don't have a break in period but they do get broke in after use. The packing settles and compacts so after awhile the exhaust actually changes note. I understand the confusion where Kenny posted in the video name it was a "Dual exhaust break in" and in his description it says, "After 200 mile break in.". I am sure he meant that is sounds better now than when new.

No I removed them since they only suppress approximately 10% of the noise if you leave them on after you replaced the muffler. Also welcome back to see the video again, it was definitely a joy making it and I am happy you like it. 😎
