There's some speculation that all the logs are actually Killy's memories from his point of view, so it could be that his memories are corrupted and he thought Cibo was there. In fact, most of the other logs share the same discrepecies, replacing many of the female characters with Cibo when they clearly couldn't have been her.

This one is probably my favourite out of the anime LOGs. Anyhow I hate how difficult it is to get any other stuff by Tsutomu Nihei than the BLAME! series! You get hooked by the BLAME! manga but can't read more! I need a hit! Plz give me a hit of Blame!!

They are in fact pretty short and that is, because these seven episodes that contain characters and style of the Manga are only trailers that have been produced to show Tsutomo Nihei the possibilities of a Blame! anime. Unfortunatle he was not content with this realisation, so the series has never been further elaborated.

if i had to guess, by the weapon they are referring to killy’s GBE. i think in issue 1 or 2 of the manga there is actually an interaction between ivy, maeve, and killy that reads basically exactly like that. to address your first question also, if i remember correctly i saw somewhere this was made by a french art studio as a color test exercise-thing. still cool but i think that’s also why it’s so short

Tsutomu Nihei (creator of BLAME! manga) studied architecture before turning to mangas. ;) All Nihei's mangas have great architecture and also huge structures. Take a look at BiOmega manga.
