This tragedy did a job on Seton's mind, his conscience ate him alive & he did an 180 recognizing the high intelligence of wolves as well as their moral pairing status which is for life from which humans got a lot to learn. He never killed a wolf again but rallied for their lawful protection, which bouhgt him a lot of enemies in the 1800's. He became for-nature inclined and tried to enmend his wrong, even wrote a book To The Wild Animals I Know. Lobo & Blanca have entered Great Lovers Hall o Fame

This was really sad, and a very heart-wrenching documentary. I remember watching a video of two coyotes exhibiting behaviour very similar to Lobo and his mate. One of the coyotes got shot, and in ran the partner of the wounded coyote, running beside their hurt mate as if to help them, but then that coyote got shot dead too.

@KazukoLight It was a villianous act, however the despicable nature of Seton's actions caused him to ultimately reflect and change as a person. He did more good for the Wolves of North America than bad in the end.

I think it's because in the end mr Seton realised he didn't want to kill the wolf and became more aware of America's vanishing wilderness, and tried to make others more aware of it too. Perhaps if he hadn't a lot of animal species in America would be lost by now.

I'm raising my voice for the Wolves so if you're a wolf lover like me and and that you want wolves to be protected and happy from any bad human like him like this and say I'm a true wolf we can make the world a better place for Wolves and I wish them kind of human like him doesn't exist. Them kind humans are monsters they should be called killer Monsters killer of wolves they think they're doing a good thing but they're not that's what humans should be called like him. And humans are actually the biggest threat to climate change. Sorry if my English isn't good.

Alanna .. god works in mysterious ways ..I'm a wolf lover and as sad as it is I believe God used lobo to change this hunters heart which he did completely as the hunter fought to save wolves and wrote books of how intelegent and beautiful they really are
