Calling all animal lovers! Cody Roberts of Daniel, Wyoming has yet to be punished for his horrific abuse towards a wolf cub known as Thea. We must not allow him, nor any other torturer of animals get away with only a slap on the wrist. If any of you care, please fight that real justice be met! Keep this story alive, ask for better animal protection laws, continue to protest until he is given server jail time for his awful crimes. Don’t let Thea die in vain! Demand that her murderer is brought to justice. That’s what it means to be a Wildlife Warrior! #JusticeForWolves

@@jeltsephotography It is Chile´s coasts, it is difficult to tell you where exactly it is, they live along all the coast of the country, however, it has orange barriers, it does have a train and it looks pretty urban, so I dare to say its Valparaiso, Muelle el Quisco to be precise, if you want to take photos, its a pretty good spot, Valparaiso is beutiful, it is just around the corner of Viña del Mar that is beutiful too (but more akin to a urban city that a fishing city like Valparaiso), and its pretty close to Santiago, the capital, so you can arrive and go directly there. Hope this helps.
@lucianoherrera6242
@lucianoherrera6242 Ай бұрын
@@jeltsephotography I rectify, if ist Muelle el Quisco, its part of San Antonio's province instead of Valparaiso's province, however both are part of Valparaiso´s Region so they are still pretty close

THANK YOU BBC! (Too bad, on that last scene with the brinecicles killing all the seafloor creatures, they didn't show the process later - when the ice breaks free and floats back to the ocean surface carrying the dead with it, which then distributes the various creatures back into the water column as food for fish!) Nature is utterly brilliant! 💝

Saving wildlife during harsh winters involves providing them with resources and creating environments that help them survive cold temperatures, limited food supplies, and difficult conditions. Here are practical steps to protect wildlife during the winter months: 1. Provide Food Sources Wild animals struggle to find enough food during winter. Bird Feeders: Set up feeders with seeds, suet, and nuts for birds. Black-oil sunflower seeds are especially nutritious. Leave Fruit and Vegetables: Scatter fruits like apples and vegetables like carrots for animals such as deer or squirrels. Don’t Overfeed: Ensure food is offered in moderation to avoid over-dependence or interference with their natural habits. 2. Create Shelter Shelters protect animals from cold winds and snow. Birdhouses and Nesting Boxes: Install birdhouses with insulation to keep birds warm. Brush Piles: Create piles of leaves, twigs, and branches to provide hiding and resting spots for small mammals like rabbits and hedgehogs. Unfrozen Water: Keep water sources available by placing heated water bowls or breaking ice on ponds regularly. 3. Avoid Disturbing Hibernating Animals Many species hibernate in winter, such as bats, bears, and reptiles. Disturbing their hibernation can waste their energy reserves, endangering their survival. Know where local wildlife dens or burrows are and avoid disturbing them. 4. Plant Winter-Friendly Vegetation Plant evergreen shrubs, berry bushes (like holly or winterberry), or trees that can provide food and shelter for wildlife during the cold season. Leave native plants and grasses uncut to give small animals hiding spots. 5. Avoid Using Chemicals De-icing salts and antifreeze can be toxic to wildlife. Opt for pet-safe or wildlife-safe alternatives. Refrain from using harmful pesticides, which can contaminate food sources. 6. Be Mindful of Water Sources Wildlife needs water, but ponds, lakes, and streams can freeze. Break the ice daily to allow animals to drink. Heated water bowls are another excellent option to prevent dehydration. 7. Support Local Wildlife Organizations Volunteer or donate to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centers that help injured or struggling animals during winter. 8. Drive Carefully in Snowy Areas Many animals, such as deer or foxes, wander onto roads during winter in search of food or shelter. Drive slowly and remain vigilant in areas near forests or open fields. 9. Keep Pets Indoors Domestic pets, especially cats, can harm or stress local wildlife trying to survive the winter. Ensure pets stay indoors as much as possible during harsh conditions. 10. Report Injured or Stranded Wildlife If you see an animal that appears sick, injured, or unable to cope with the cold, contact a local wildlife rehabilitation center for guidance. Small actions can make a significant difference in helping wildlife during winter. By providing food, shelter, and safe conditions, we can ensure that animals survive and thrive even in the harshest weather. You said:

The last video about life in the Antarctica Ocean below the thick ice makes me sure that similar life exists on other moons with oceans under thick ice in our solar system, and in extra-solar star systems as well. "Intelligent" life like space-faring humans might be rare, but "primitive" life like these must be common across the universe.
