Tremendous gripping song but can see why it faltered in the charts of the time - too dark and intense, and the video's just unsettling. Not the kind of stuff to release during the Christmas rush of sentimental fluff. Otherwise one of their peaks creatively. And how I missed this type of singing on "Believe you me"! They shouldn't've blanded out no matter what.

The single was a UK hit but not to the same extent as the previous three.This video did not help sales, it comes across as rather cheap and nasty...no plot, no location no explanation as to WHY Neil A is just "trapped in the middle of this grid thing or why his compadre Mr. L is just crawling around to no purpose other than simply featuring in the video.As someone else noted, i found Neil A's JUMPER rather attractive too!. John peel was VERY keen on this single as i recall.
