It was very brave to release this all stops pulled out emotional ballad after the catchy eastern Living on the ceiling. It paid off - but it deserved a higher chart position than 19 where it eventually peaked. Blancmange were and are brilliant. All my best wishes to them and a big thank you to all the really happy moments they have given me with their music. Especially the way they have made me chuckle out loud with some of their dead pan lyrics. Their latest album A Private View shows they can still very much cut the mustard and I love Neil Arthurs groundedness and modesty when interviewed.
