I just saw Blanco White in Atlanta at Aisle 5 and someone in the audience requested he perform this song, but he said he hadn't practiced it in awhile so he didn't. But, I'm really glad I looked it up here on KZbin! Beautiful! Thanks, for a great concert!

So happy I was browsing the music collection in the British Airways flight from Singapure last year as I had time enough. Encountered several music jewels in that. One of them Blanco White. Really appreciate the music selection of BA! Liked each and every song of Blanco since then. And since I encountered the "Yucatan Session" of that song yesterday, i hear it over and over again. He had a fling with a girl named Sol. He loved her but he was young dumb and on the run. Time passes and he comes back to find her a poor single mother. Like we all do when we see out exes, he wonders what life could have been, for better or for worse. He had an easy life, while she had it hard life and I think he regrets how he treated her and reminisces on how good she treated him. This might be a stretch but I think the Sol's baby also might be his child, but I'm not sure about that part.
