This show has the best character development. It dives deep into psychology of the characters. It is the most well written script in the GL universe. You either get into it or not. At this point I am done trying to talk people into giving this show a chance. Both are consenting adults. I actually find it weirder that people are so quick to dismiss Anueng's feelings and desires. If you continue you will find that Anueng is the one that is more mature and has everything thought out. It is the world around her that forces the thought that she is a child onto her...

Couldn't have said it any better. The moment people go into the show with the age thing, they tend to miss the psychology of the characters. The childlike performance of arnueng's character was the most realistic for her because i have also witnessed similar behaviour from real life people in her position she tends to do that to fit in with her peers at school and she also shows it as a non threatening behaviour to the people around her which was what helped her with ar nueng. This series is such a masterpiece that it shows two flawed characters forming an almost perfect bond. Also if you do continue appreciating the series you would see that anueng is the more mature of the two.

This series is created by P.Wan, a talented psychology master's graduate. It requires paying attention to many details, like K.Nueng's restrained eye movements, facial expressions, and small gestures, all of which carry deeper meanings. For example, when Neung smiles in front of K.Nueng, her smile disappears as soon as she turns away. Nueng is a 20-year-old mature and introverted girl. Because of her strict upbringing by her grandmother, she knows how to use childlike behavior to gain freedom. As a high school student, she’s skilled at hiding her true self and pretending to fit in, otherwise, her peers might see her as strange. K.Nueng is a poor artist who ran away from home with emotional scars. As a member of the royal family, she was raised with a sense of superiority, making her a cold person who doesn’t understand love. Nueng knows that K.Nueng is a tsundere, a cold person with a hidden soft side. So, her initial strategy is to use her usual methods to interact with K.Nueng. She knows she must provoke K.Nueng and make her angry so that K.Nueng’s cold mask will break. It's a really good story. Once you understand each character's background and personality, you'll see why they handle things the way they do. I love SS1 the most because its suggestive filming style makes me more curious to dig deeper into the characters.🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭(Sorry, I got too excited because someone is watching this series, so I wrote a lot.)

Man, i don't like how people judge this show or any other show based on just the first episode. It's good to have opinions and perspectives, but harly judging a series without knowing the full context comes off shallow. I hesitated for the longest time to watch Blank, but when i did, i was fully dedicated and didn't care for any of the negative feedback I was getting for the show. It turns out to be the best gl seriedfrom Thailand with one of the best acting i've seen across TV history.

Trust the evolution. The great thing about this series and why the acting is always praised as one of the best is because you can really see the deepth of their characters. At first you see Khun Nueng as a fierce, confident and mature woman but in reality she is afraid, she is vulnerable, she is kind and Faye does an amazing job as far as bringing emotion even with just her eyes. And at first you can see Anueng as a child, annoying and inmature character but then you can see she is way more mature than Khun Nueng, she is not afraid of anything, she is a fighter, a survivor, funny. Im sure you will love them. There were reactors that were kinda hesitant to give it a shot and now for them it is top 2 best gls out there. Their acting is superior and you can really see the chemistry they have. In just 5 already 230 Million views

Its funny how ppl find the age gap relationship cringy when in fact, there are lots of age gap relationships in the world. If you read some of the comments on the episodes, you'd see lots of ppl in age gap relationships and even bigger gaps relating to the show and also expressing their gratitude for this kind of representation. It also hypocritical that we crave for LGBT representation but find the relationship between two consenting adults cringe because of the age difference. I think we need to have a rethink. I understand that yoko has a baby face which could be a put off but it's not her fault that she has a youthful face. Furthermore, ppl should watch the entire series before making assumptions. You can tell by the number of views that the series is indeed a masterpiece.

As I said my grandparents had 12 years age gap and they loved each others till the very end of their life ❤️ so for me is not the age gap the problem, it’s the childish act of the younger character that it makes it uncomfortable, at least from my and Fabio’s point of view! ❤

Hi. I just want to say that I hope you give this show a chance. There is so much depth to this show, and I can't understand why there are so many who are unwilling to see beyond the age gap and Aneungs seemingly immature nature. If you allow yourself to see past that, you will see that even in episode 1, Aneung gives you small glimpses into the maturity that she hides beneath her childlike persona. This is a love story of 2 people whose lives parallel each other. Part of the reason they fall in love with each other is because they see each other and understand one another in ways most can't. Both wear masks to hide their pain and loneliness. Aneung (younger one) hides behind a childlike persona to appear non-threatening while Khun Neung hides behind apathy. As they grow closer to each other, they begin to feel safe enough to let the masks come down. That is when you really start to see them begin to heal each other and fall in love along the way. As a side note, the writers purposely do not show their romantic chemistry in the beginning to show sensitivity to the age gap. Once Aneung turns 21 (which is the full legal adult age in Thailand) thats when they start showing the viewers their romantic chemistry.

I didn't watch your reaction yet because of your video's heading and reading your comments about the show for my own well being I won't watch it because i know i won't be able to tolerate the backlash or negative comments but i do like to say something. As you can see in the comment section many people didn't like the show, many people even try to boycott the show even before it air that's how bad it was for "Blank" we "Blankets " (the fandom name of Blank) fought really hard for it to be released and i am glad they did release it because they made a masterpiece. Faye and Yoko are the finest actors among thai gl actors and it's a fact no can deny that, so you guys won't be disappointed in acting area that's for sure. And also i read your comment about Yoko's childish behaviour, you said you don't have a problem with the age gap you just felt very uncomfortable about the childish behaviour of Yoko for which i would like to say or should i ask you ? that does the person who act childish or mentally or physically challenged person don't deserve love? I mean just because she act childish, she shouldn't love someone or someone should not love her? 😞I just really don't understand and I also see some comments where you agree with the comments that the age gap bothers you and it made you uncomfortable so I don't really understand if you have any problem with the age gap or not? But still i would like to say that most of the gl series does have age gap like gap the series sam and mon had 8 years age gap same with the secret of us etc but people don't have any problems with those show? if you had watched the series you won't ever think that they have an age gap. Why, because those shows doesn't focus on that, they are more focus on the family and relationship problems but Blank don't do that they focus on the age gap, the obstacles that comes with it, older person to realise and accept that she is falling for a much younger person along with all the obstacles that comes with their relationship, society and family and that's why Blank is my fav Thai series because they didn't neglect the age gap problems with them. Thank you
@TGAreactions3 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your passion for "Blank" and the dedication of the fandom. To clarify, the issue here isn’t the age gap itself-we have no problem with relationships where there’s a significant age difference. In fact, I’m in a relationship with someone who’s 7 years older than me. What’s making us and many others uncomfortable is the dynamic where a 36-year-old woman is attracted to someone who is acting childlike. This behavior, combined with the mom-daughter relationship dynamic, gives off unsettling vibes that feel somewhat pedo-adjacent, even if everything is legal. You mentioned other shows like "Gap" and "The Secret of Us," where there’s also an age difference. The difference is that in those shows, both characters are in the same stage of life and act like they’re the same age, which doesn’t create the same discomfort. We’re not afraid to share our honest opinions, and this is how we feel. Our intent isn’t to bash the series but to discuss both the pros and cons as we see them. As we’ve mentioned, we’re committed to watching the whole season and will form our final judgment after that. All our comments so far are based on episode 1 (and episode 2, which will be released soon on our channel). Thanks again for your input, and we hope you’ll continue the discussion with us.

This is already like the day to day of the poor girls and the series, I keep seeing a lot of comments from people who dislike the series and didn't even watch it, I have always said that you can't give your opinion on something you don't know. The first time I knew about the series it was because all the hate and horrendous comments on Twitter and Tiktok due to the age gap, and to being honest I was afraid of watching the series because of that, I was literally on the defensive when I saw the first few chapters... then I remember falling in love with the characters, their personalities, the background of the story and the plot, it is an extremely well done series, it deals with very deep issues and with a lot of professionalism. Anueng and Khun Nueng are not only a girl who behaves childishly and the rude woman 16 years older than her, they are much more than that. Many people think the series "romanticizes" the age gap, but my friends, I can tell you haven't seen it; all the problems and difficulties you can imagine due to that are covered in the series, they left nothing out, everything is there. This is not about depravity and sin, for that there is Game of Thrones (series I love) and I don't see anyone criticizing. I have seen all the GL's that have come out so far and none of them have made a mark on me like Blank, it is the only one that has made me cry for real, I support all the actresses but Faye and Yoko's acting and the complexity of the characters is very hard to beat. I know that many have a different opinion and I respect it 💟 Give the series a chance, and if you finish it believe me, you will not regret it. Not for nothing it is one of the most successful GL series this year.

Ok so… I was going to post this like an answer to one of your comments, but I prefer to do this here. You just mentioned that the series and the relationship between the girls gives off “unsettling vibes that feel somewhat pedo-adjacent, even if it is legal” and that is something I don't think many will tolerate, please inform yourself well because that is not a topic that can be talked about lightly, pedophilia is considered as such when the girl or boy is under 13, and sorry but Khun Nueng’s hobby is not stalking and hunting children and teenagers like a pervert. In the context of the series Anueng is 21 when she starts having something with Khun Nueng, and Khun Nueng always felt bad because of all the problems that existed around, she never forced her to anything, we have said before that of the two Anueng is the more mature emotionally speaking. I could have understood you saying this if you had only seen the first chapter and did not know the context of the series, but in the comments already many have told you the ages of the characters and why Anueng behaves like this, it is not because she is immature, it is because somehow she has to protect herself from others, and Khun Nueng does not like her because she looks like a little girl, but because like Anueng she has trust problems and with her she does not feel threatened, Anueng is honest and straightforward, she doesn’t mess around with nonsense or hidden agendas. She doesn't want Khun Nueng to be her mother, but her girlfriend, and that is very clear since the beginning. She doesn't have a trauma because her parents left her, the only thing she wants is to be free and be able to love the person she wants. I tell you this because after the series was realized, the people who wanted to boycott the series and NineStarStudios attacked and threated Faye, saying she supported pedophilia, that’s a really serious accusation and I ask you, do you believe she deserves that? Do you thing we as a fandom will support that abomination if we knew that was true? Another thing is that you wanted Freen and Becky to be in this series, well, it is not possible because they work with IdolFactory. NineStarStudios is a company that emerged in the middle of last year, created by P'Wan and Ize, they did absolutely everything with their own money and took the series forward because no one supported them, they had no sponsors, and with all and controversy the series came out 6 months ago, from there and when people realized its success, they began to recognize their work, so yes, they started with nothing. Another thing to mention is that they can't work together because generally Freen and Becky's fandom tends to be extremely toxic, to the point that they can't see anyone get close to them because they get upset, Faye and Freen are very good friends, Freen is known to have great admiration for Faye, and Faye supported Freen when she had problems, but Freen and Becky's fans took it upon themselves to attack Faye for months on social media, so now they practically can't see each other. I'm almost sure you're not going to pass from the first season guys, but we will see, and well, we're not going to force you either, it's your decision and your opinion, we respect that, but I just ask you to be careful with the terms you use. This is not a fairytale, remember that when you see chapter 6, I don’t know how are you going to react to that episode and I don’t know if you will be able to understand Khun Nueng's behavior. I saw one reaction of someone who watched the series with the hope of them not ending up together, and I was like “Dude, this is a GL, this is about two women falling in love, if she behaves childishly It doesn’t mean she is 12 years old, she is already and adult and she knows what she is doing”. They are going to end up together after a really tough path, so, if you guys are not ready for that please stop watching it because this is not for you, if you want to give it an opportunity it's okay.

Hi! First of all it’s a shame if our review/what we said made you feel this way, it was definitely not our intention. We are committed as a reaction channel to bring the raw thought of what we think and unfortunately sometimes you will simply not like what we have to say. We invite you to keep watching as our opinion are not a commentary of the series as a whole but of that specific episode in isolation. Also your opinion is VALID and WELCOME on our comment section and we invite you to share your opinions and how they differ from what we say, we will always encourage a healthy debate and want to give fans like you the opportunity to highlight the pros of series like blank. To answer your comment: We are well aware that the young Anueng is 21 (and the actress is 22/23 if I'm not wrong) and we do read all of the comments! We are not basing our opinion on what the comments are saying or what the people around the social media are writing, we red many times that this is Anueng facade, we are still waiting for that episode to judge/understand ourselves. So far we watched two episodes and the younger Anueng is acting like a 13/14 yo girl, she's very pushy and clingy and childish so based solely on this first 2 eps, yes it makes us uncomfortable, at least for now. We are not the kind of people who would attack an actress for their work/writing death threats, and she definitely does not deserve that. We would have loved FreenBecky's cameo, but as one of the comments said it would have stole the spotlight from FayeYoke and they are not wrong, so we see why they didn't and we were not aware of the situation that the boycott created between Faye and Freen, we wereleft that they were really close and good friends.. We don't know either if we will watch both seasons, we definitely finish this one as we said and then decide, and as we mentioned, we might be uncomfortable with the main relationship but we have the feeling they are going to represent other interesting topics so we might stick for those. We are not "shipping" them, so far (based solely on the first 2 episodes) but we are well aware it's a GL and they end up together. We are also now interested to see if we would like it or not, one thing for sure we don't want to make anyone uncomfortable and we will be as much careful as we can, thank you for highlighting that, we do appreciate it 😊

So, at the beginning of the show, Anueng is 20. She acts childish to get under Khun Nueng's skin and past her walls. Also, because its a mask that she wears like Sam's indifference or Khun Nueng's arrogance. She's actually alot more mature and intelligent than she lets on. Don't let the babyface fool you. Anueng explains her backstory and why she's a senior in high school. I don't want to spoil it. Khun Nueng and Anueng basically have the same name. It is explained in the story. At this point, Khun Nueng has the same stunted emotional growth like Sam (who talks about herself in the third person in the show sometimes), but it's far worse, and she has a belief that no one is worthy of her...at least that's what she tells people. I personally think that its a bit of a safety mechanism for her. Emotionally, Khun Nueng and Anueng are of a similar age. Blank takes place after Gap. Sam and Mon are together. Tuo Lek means 'little one'. Its Khun Nueng's nickname for Sam. I get it. At first, I was like y'all. A big gap relationship of this age range was a bit iffy for me as well, but by the end of episode 3, it didn't bother me like I thought it would. I don't want to spoil anything, but like Sam before Mon, Khun Nueng has been so screwed up emotionally by their grandma, you can really see in the way she interacts with Anueng that many times Anueng is the more mature of the two emotionally.

Best GL out there for me. Trust the process. Things you must know: - Anueng is 20 soon to be 21 (ep 5) and Khun Nueng is 36 - In real life they are 29 and 23, also rumored to be dating in real life - Nothing happens until she is in college - Her "childish" personality is just a facade to gain attention from Khun Nueng but you can see that its also a way to escape the domestic abuse she is suffering. As the series go on you can see her real self, she is so mature for her age and she is fierce, she defends what she believes in..... - There are 2 seasons of 6 episodes each. You can really see the difference in Anueng's character from s1 to s2. Her childish personality is gone in s2 and in s1 from ep 4 on, she doesnt do that personality as much, only if she wants attention. -They have a new series coming up

Thank you for giving chance to the series n for being open minded about it!.As someone who finished watching the series I can say it's worth it.this series as we see was not the typical love story that we've usually seen, they tackled different issues that in reality sometimes it's happened&happening but got my interest is the age gap n its in gl so I was thinking how can they do it?Will they portray it well? What they gonna do to the stories?n Honestly Im amazed how the actors give justice to the characters for the show, the production n directing big applause to them very appreciated. For characters in the series n issue bout their age gap(16) I think it's not the problem cause they are adults already (21&36)but if ur just basing to the looks n actions specially for Anueng(21)maybe it can justify but dive deeper u will know why she's acting like that, but upon continue watching the series u can see the character development that in my opinion she's the mature one in terms of different aspects. To those people that have negative comment about the series maybe they just watched first episode n can't blame them for that but if u have patiencecontinue watching till end maybe u can change ur opinion about the series but if not it's ok that's ur opinion n we should respect that. People quick to judge an entire story. Not all age gap relationship out there is predatory, people should stop being judgmental because that only gives an idea that we are all the same with the homophobic people. What happen to the word LOVE is LOVE.. that we've been fighting for. So it only applies when it's align with what for you is right. Again, I'm all against predator people. But don't apply that to Blank, because that story is a love story, you CAN'T just start watching a series and judge the whole entire story by just watching 1 or 2 episodes.

The boom of GLs in Thailand right now is making all the industry want to get on the train. And culturally Thai, as well as many places in Asia, have a kind of weird way to see people (more often women) that they tend to infantilize so many characters, they portrait intense pinning as love as well as not taking no for an answer. Again culturally I had some trouble adjusting to the view they have on many kind of problematic things and this actually was my limit, they do had pretty decent acting but that's all. The way almost all the hardcore fans defend this knowing the book was worse, the main point being that they had to age up a bit Anueng for the series to not get more backlash, still blows my mind. I watched many chapter through reactions, and may actually see more with your reactions haha I like your take on many things.

Thank you! I tried the show and it grossed me out. Its not so much the age gap for me, it's the dynamic between the characters. Yoko's character acts like she's 12 so their dynamic comes off very adult-kid. It felt like they were trying to write a romance between a schoolgirl and an adult but then aged up the former to make it _technically_ ok but she still comes of as a young school girl. I actually thought Yokos character was canonically a teen and the show would handle their relationship through some sort of a time skip (like they meet when she's young and then meet up again when she's already an adult). Learning the character was supposedly 20 was WILD to me. I skipped through later episodes and their dynamic even feels maternal to some degree which even other characters in the show pick up on. Long story short, I couldn't get past the first episode. This show is not for me.

Ngl, I couldn't watch this series at first because I couldn't fathom glorifying/ sugar coating the weirdness in this storyline all in the name of queer content. The storyline is disgusting and funny enough the age gap ends being the least worry-some thing here somehow , for me I can't get over/ look past Aneung's initial demeanor( her child-like behavior), her being a high schooler when she met Neung, Neung's relationship with her parents, the toxicity(mostly from Neung being emotionally immature and being closed off at first), the jealous antics from Aneung, the taking advantage of Aneung whenever she was drunk etc, BUT tbh the show does try it's best to bring some sort of morality in the portrayal of this story. There wasn't a better way of telling this story because the book itself is tapped so shit, they did their big one and P'Faye and Yoko really acted their asses off so at the end I really enjoyed it and I hope yall will too💯.(as long as it remains fictional tho cos this storyline irl would be bonkers)

I'm only watching this reaction bc I like to watch your reactions. But I literally could not stand Blank & only got through S1. I did not sense the same chemistry between Yoko & Faye that I did immediately between Freen & Becky. Yoko's character made me grind my teeth. And I felt positively bad for Ar-Neung bc she was saddled w/ an infatuated, immature stalker. You all knock yourselves out. I just can't waste any more time on this overrated series. Ciao!

@@TGAreactions A warning. I have gotten 10 kinds of hell for disliking this series. You'd think that I was saying that Taylor Swift doesn't do it for me. True. In S 2 they get around to getting it on sexually, but I could not subject my sensitive eyes to that although I think that Faye Malisorn is gorgeous & she's "family" to boot. However Freen & Becky identify IRL, nobody in the GL universe does Sapphic interactions better. Anyway, if you don't sing the praises of Blank, you will be crucified.

@@elizabethmorgan293 Girl, we are not going to crucify them if they do not like the series, a lot of blankets are here asking them to give the series an opportunity even when they said they "felt dirty" watching it, if they don't like it they can say it and that's it, but one thing is not to agree with something and another is to attack the series saying it is a depravity or that it incites to "disturbing acts", please, all GL series have their toxicity, and whoever says otherwise is blind, for example Affair, Gap and even The Secret of Us, where Earn never opened the mouth to say anything until Fahlada found out the truth.
