I have seen several closers on blankets and I like yours the best it is the one with the smoothest joins I've seen. thank you for doing this tutorial. cathy from louisiana

Beautiful!! It’s handmade and isn’t meant to be *perfect”😍and once someone is using the blanket, it won’t even matter! Use the blanket, don’t stare at it 😂😂 thank you for the tutorial 🙏

Thanks for your joining tutorial. I tend to use the mattress stitch for both my circular knitting machine and flatbed knitting machine projects. You've given me another approach to consider. Preparing to make a checkerboard blanket (7-8 panels wide--360 rows/panel) with my 48 needle Sentro. I normally make my blankets on one of my bulky flatbed knitting machines, so this will be my first blanket using one of my circular knitters.

I would LOVE a flat bed machine... but that is out of reach for me at the moment. I do really like how thick and cozy my blankets wind up being on my circular machine.

Thank you so much for this, I have a Sentro because I couldn't afford an addi (which I really wanted). I am going to try this for my hubby's snuggle blanket I am going to make for Christmas.

It takes much patience to do this amazing jog on joining the machine knit stitches. You gave me the incentive to use up much of my yarn stash on my knitting machine to create blankets for my grandkids. Thank you. I edited this comment to tell you that this was one of the tutorials that helped me the most with my knitting.

@@YarnatPlay I am well, hope you are as well. I ignore my Addi way too much. I saved this to my playlist. I like the invisible-ish join, if I can get the row stitch done correctly.

I don’t have a machine, but this has great potential using double-knitted squares with the same joiningbtechnique! Great blanket. (What did you do with those 2 chain stitches when the camera battery died?)

Hello beautiful your work, just a question, you did square by square. One by One or have more together, like two by two...
@YarnatPlay3 жыл бұрын
The tube panels are worked all together so I just changed my color yarn every 33 Rows. Once I had my 5 tube panels, then I seamed them together. Each tube was a total of 264 rows. Does that make sense?

Hi. Do you have a tutorial on how to make the blanket on the knitting machine?
@YarnatPlay3 жыл бұрын
I am going to be uploading a gingham style blanket tutorial next week. If you wanted this checkerboard pattern, just draw out the pattern you want and plan on doing 33 rows per square. Work on strips and get everything all joined together. 😊
