10 Enemies. Not nine. Not thirteen... But ten. I think ten is a great number, but the number 12 really is underappreciated. It's so much more useful. Anyways, here's another video.

The worst enemy is the golden teleporting and one-second-shooting phantom in the Convent. How tf do you not get hit by that attack.

The ink fanthom can compete. Yes, it does not forbid you to land more than one hit before escaping, and its laser has longer windup, but it is so thick and tracks so hard that it's nigh impossible to close distance without taking it in the face.

Worst part is they take stupid amount of hits to kill and you only get one. And then it teleports behind a wall. Just pure tedium to clear them out and you can't really ignore them or they snipe you to death.

I figured them out. The first one is harder since it has maybe 4 spawn points, but very near each other. The second and third is a little easier. They tend to teletransport to only two places. First you see where these two places are. Secondly you hide from its attack and when it release the laser for the second time you go to the second place (before it respawn, they don't laser you a third time) and attack. It will teletransport to the first place so you hide again. Do it till it is dead. Also if hide under the rock plataforms -------- its two spawn points will be really near you, even easier.

That enemy is what brought me to this video. Absolutely the worst and their hit range is so wide on the beam it’s impossible to dodge when you are trying to drop from a platform.

1) Originally called the Condemned 2) Sagittal Martyrs, coolest looking enemy in game, even if butt-naked 3) Lamest looking enemy in game, would've been better as a type of warlock of some kind 4) Wrecking ball nuns, would've been nice for an execution on this foe 5) Based off of death masks according to some sources 6) Originally called Processioner, one of the other coolest looking enemies and actually had a cage full of arms carrying candles in it's first design (wish that was kept in) 7) Always thought the Brazen Bull was conceived as like a reversed-bullfighter enemy 8) Also called Restless Bones, one of the few other enemies with a more inhuman appearance 9) Actually is a "she", which is why I kinda find it cute when she's holding her skirt down during a landing. 10) Supposedly, these guys prayed so hard that they broke their backs and are stuck in leap-frog mode

Well, the Brazen Bull enemy design is actually not only based on a torture method. If you look closely you can see the the weapon used by this enemy is called a "rejones de castigo" (lance of punishment). It's used by bullfighters in Spain to injure / kill bulls so there is an irony of a bull-headed enemy using a weapon that is meant for punishing bulls. Also their agile nature is reminiscent of how actual bullfighters need to be in order to survive. Since this game is based on themes of self punishment for sins and Spanish culture, it kinda makes sense.

To the first enemies, the wraiths with the bells that float. You should bait them, face them, and just continously slash upward. Just upward. The angles it comes at you from wil be caught in the upslash, no matter what. It'll never touch you...

I would probably put Ghastly Baroness on the list. When I first met these in the Convent, I died SO many times before I figured out (i.e. read online) how to best them.

@@panagiotispotamitis9872 If you stay in the same general area, they will only teleport between two set locations. Pick a place where it's easy to run between those two locations and hit them before they shoot

@@panagiotispotamitis9872 Sometimes you don't even have to run between teleports. For example, one Baroness spawns in the room to the left of the Prie Dieu in the Convent. If you run fast enough, you can dodge the lasers and get to the small wooden platform in the bottom right. From there you can just stand on the right side of the platform facing right and spam attack: she will teleport above and to the right of you, but the generic attack's hitbox extends upwards a bit, making it able to hit her in both locations while you stand in one place.

The first time I played this game I didnt know anything about the lore, so I was so much WTF about some enemies. Like the crucified girl and how much power she have or the hooper and how much they can jump. I was thinking the enemies were some kind of crazy fanatics but that is insane. Later when I understand and I see most of this ppl where transform into monsters by the Miracle. like the apostles from the manga Berserk or like undeads.

The best thing about Blasphemous is that even if at first an enemy or boss gives you insane trouble, the mechanics of combat are so well made that eventually, whether it's an hour or five later, you WILL find a comfortable way to dispatch/avoid them. Amanecidas and NG+ Sierpes are absolutely bullshit though.

The best strategy versus the bell fuckers (the ghosts you mention first) is to spam the grounded upward sword swing and stay in place. That move has such a big ass hitbox you'll never get hit no matter where the ghosts charge you from.

Upgrade the projectile attack. Makes a lot of these enemies a lot easier to deal with, especially when you weaken them with it first, and then go in for a lunge attack.

Bell phantom mobs are actually easy. Those phantoms always try to go top of the penitant one's head. So you only have to do is press up and spam attack button.

Out of all these shown at the video there's one and only one that is the most annoying in the game and that's the brazen bull (or Phalaris) at Mourning and Havoc. The anchor that they throw to you makes too much damage, their dodging roll is annoying AND THEY ARE TANKY AF. Ik it best to avoid them but at some points it is necessary to fight them and it's the reason why I'm stuck in Mourning and Havoc for 2 weeks now

honestly, this list is kind of.. bad, there are far more annoying enemies then the ones you listed, though I will give you the Specters, Belidonos and Dirt Divers, but the rest are actually really easy to deal with tbh, like those covent nuns? literally Sword charge them, the dash and stab move, instant execution phase, in fact that lunge and stab takes a lot of those enemies out, so for new players, invest that move at all costs, its one of the first you unlock and the cheapest
