FGMS is better for one reason - you don't have to craft it. You don't even have to make a great investment in FP. I hate having to go across The Lands Between to get all the materiel to craft something, much less the Blood Boil Aromatic. Besides, fire damage, 9/10 times, just fucks.

u lost me on the last one, fist weapons range sucks because they break players stamina blocking, giving u a crit; these do slashing/piercing damage, meaning ur attacks will bounce off players shield when they block u. its like fromsoft knew this so they gave it ashes that pretty much tell u to use its thrusting against shields, but then that takes away from the point if it being a fist weapon. think about it; most pvp fights are u against sumone with a shield unless their duel stancing or casting. i agree with alot of other places tho

I don't understand why you included charm combos, hiveblood is useless unless you are doing white palace, weaversong combo is decent but nothing crazy, all the other combos are straight up garbage (especially dream shield, wow the useless shield is slightly bigger now ). Also you could use spell twister to use 8 spells instead of 6 with a full soul bar on the Radiance. One tip you missed is getting Shaman Stone as soon as possible, it gives an insane boost to your damage with very little investment. Fragile greed is a lot less useful than you think, because most of your Geo doesn't come from enemies, it comes from trading with Lemm or redoing the Colosseum. Still great video! I for some reason always though that warrior dreams gave you completion percentage so this video taught me something

I hated the Scadutree Avatar the most because when I first encountered it, it didn't lead off with its "thorn waves" like (most) successive fights. I was running a Frost Mage build and inflicted significant damage with Ranni's Dark Moon and the Dark Moon Greatsword to the Scadu Avatar's head. I came close to beating its first phase on my first try, but while chopping away at its stalk to finish it off, I didn't see its rain of "holy bolts" coming down and died. At the start of my 2nd try, I ran into its thorn waves and struggled to evade them, which depleted my flasks. Around my fifth try I beat its 1st phase, not knowing it had 3 phases -- but it seemed too easy, so I wasn't surprised when it popped out of the swap again. I evaded its first attack, but its charge attacks caught me by surprise and I struggled with the timing my rolls, so I ran out of flasks again and died. Even though I'm a mage, I try to resist using Summons and solo bosses for the challenge, so I struggled for over an hour before I discovered the Scadu Avatar had a 3rd phase and was like "F it, I can't finish this marathon without help." I tried Mimic Tear, Dungeater, and the Marionette Archers, but none of them were very effective. I went back to using Mimic Tear because it at least survived to the 3rd phase, even if the AI's spellcasting was worthless. Finally, I realized the most effective tactic was the first thing I tried: Get in close and attack its head with the frost-charged Dark Moon Greatsword, which Mimic Tear joined in on, and we were able to beat its 1st phase without me using any flasks. In the 2nd and 3rd phases, it was difficult to get into melee, so I used Dark Moon and Comet spells, and after learning to reliably evade the Scadu Tree's charges and depleting my FP flasks, I wore it down enough to finish it off with my sword. The reason why I hated the Scadutree Avatar the most was it was vulnerable to frost damage but was deceptively strong because of its 3 phases, and I was confused by its "stun state" at the end of each phase. I also wasted an hour trying to solo it before realizing its futility. My boss fights versus Mesmer and Commander Gaius were quicker and less frustrating because I recognized early that I needed Summons as distractions to keep them off me while I healed and cast spells. In hindsight, I could've benefited from some prep work about what to except from the Scadutree Avatar.

It’s so frustrating that statues builds aren’t a thing in this game, it all just becomes a bleed build but worse… reset frostbite for the burst damage on proc… like bleed. Use TPFBT on a poisoned enemy to get the burst damage from the AoW… like bleed. I hate that “it’s supposed to be super omega hard!!!” Means build variety has to die.

To be strictly fair, if Black Flame's Protection took an extra spell slot you would 100% roast it for that, I've seen enough of these lists to know that. Not that I'm saying it should be moved on the list, but..... Gotta be fair.

Nobody ever complained about "beating bosses without summons is the legit way" thing before Elden Ring brought in the casuals among who live a massive portion of people who are so weak they can not handle not beating a videogame boss - so they must have everyone else agree that their nepheli + spell spec godrick kill was just as good as the sword and board one. It's ridiculous but not surprising, we humans love denial.
