You need to cast the prayer that teleports you back to the city while switching the weapons I think. The game pretty much freezes during the prayer, which allows for a glitch to happen. Haven't tried it myself so can't confirm.

I love how this specific video of mine is still getting a ton of views despite the fact that I made this for the b2 speedrunning community and so it has almost no context attached. This uses a few really broken glitches that are only available in an older patch of the game. In short, in version 1.0.5 you can weapon swap while casting mirabras, the prayer that warps you back to the city. This causes all sorts of goodies and shenanigans. This skip is actually not particularly useful in a speedrun as all the runs that include mirabras tricks will also just skip straight to the second half of the game anyway. Although in a potential all bosses category or a true ending category this would be faster. Anyway, thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed it.

It comes from not beating any of the guardians 😶 you can get into temples through the cherub tower. (On 1.0.5 anyway lmao)
