Kind of feels like they're setting Saitama up for a possible retirement arc. They've established that Saitama is able to travel backwards through time and forget everything, and (much much) earlier established that monsters started appearing only slightly before Saitama started training as a hero (there weren't enough monsters to warrant the Hero Association, and even then it wasn't created until Saitama defeated Crablante and saved that butt-chin kid.) I'm guessing they're gonna link Saitama's power in with God's monster power, as some sort of natural counter, and in the end Saitama will end up destroying God, but at the cost of resetting the world back to before he fought Crablante. The lack of God's influence on the world causes Saitama's life to take a different turn, living what turns out to be a perfectly normal life with his next-door neighbors King, and a very laid-back fully-human Genos. Everyone gets to retire in the world Saitama created, unburdened even by the memory of the fight because the fight never happened. King never got scarred (and probably isn't even called King), Genos's village was never destroyed.

Blast would only remember the battle where Cosmic Garou use a gamma ray burst against Saitama since that event was *BEFORE* Saitama using Reversal of Causality. He saw Saitama tanking Cosmic Garou’s Gamma Ray Burst, which is more than enough proof to realize Saitama’s far stronger than he looks. If Blast was still there when Saitama and Cosmic Garou clash, the only logical thing would be him being immune to causality manipulation or him traveling to a different dimension before Saitama did *REVERSAL OF CAUSALITY*, which would then give him somewhat causality manipulation. Let me explain. 1/2

2/2 If Blast traveled to another dimension before the Reversal of Causality caused by Saitama, then Blast would likely not be affected by the effects of the Reversal of Causality. Traveling to another dimension would create a separation from the events occurring in the original dimension, providing a sort of temporal and causal immunity from the changes caused by Saitama's actions.

Saitama could definitely break into any dimension blast enters and the reversal of causality is most probably directed towards the person rather than the place they are in currently. What I mean is that no matter where the person goes to, as the causality is directed to the person, will always find and hit the targeted person.

Oh I'm so glad they're redoing this arc. Kinda felt like nothing in the grand scheme of the main events of the story, but anyway I think Blast is talking about empty void. Scaling and analyzing Cosmic fear Garou or just Garou is weird because how he grows stronger and God. Fun random fact: 4th Dimension is often considered as time to be the extra variable, like the dynamics of “spacetime” as demonstrated with Blast’s power. i.e. (x, y, z, t) or (t, r, θ, φ) which is also used in stuffs like Lorentz transform and Schwarzschild black hole; but it’ll be more boring than fun to get into detail… relativity aside. It made sense when Psykos used her third-eye to determine the future and found “God” near peak Esper ability, but I also loved to assume that it is not necessarily prediction/prophecy as there will be all sorts of nonsense paradox and boring pre-determinism. Though, I’ll leave the beauty of physics to the rest of enthusiasts - especially when Murata better refined through things literally happening in Saitama versus Cosmic Garou. Personally, I am more inclined towards the power of subjective-perspective (and so, it is all your choice to do and bring about something happening) portrayed in a solution to the Grandfather Paradox and Many-worlds Interpretation. Therefore, I believed there is a greater deal within actually having a choice, a willpower and the ability to make changes against destiny; which is shown in Saitama’s determination upon breaking his limiter. And especially within how Saitama is depicted as a character: lost sense of purpose, or to find something happening, to finally be alive rather than just self-erasing? I don’t know, ask the Japanese animators their feelings and livelihoods! Maybe there is somewhat an ultimate philosophy within OPM, but also a possibility of detrimental conclusion and legacy which defied all odds, though lives may continued as normal. Gosh, I am reminded of AOT now.
