I played Hunting Sim 2 for about a year now, one tip that shows at screen when loading into a world it will say “Rain and snow will hide your scent” So maybe use that to your advantage.

Kill few cougars in Pawnee and sell them, 2-3 are enough to have a decent amount of cash to not worry for few sessions, also that would help spawn a legendary if you do it few more times, it feels faster to spawn them than in cotw. I personally started over shortly after my first run after I messed up shooting with no licenses and the other details, also I chose a useless free license first then went for bison, you can consider starting over since there's nothing locked behind xp level. Either way looking forward to the next episode!

The legendary animals will have a gold surround when spotted. When ya spot, the diamond shape over the animal is white when theyre calm, yellow if attentive, red if alert. The X when you shoot, white X is bad hit, red X is a vital. The sxs shotguns in the game arent the best, and the way he wraps the fingers around the barrel makes it hard to lead a shot sometimes his fingers will cover the target. The best shotgun is the semiauto, cant remember which one coz im more used to cotw now 😂 Ive completed hunting sim 2 basically, jus missin 2 legendarys. Rabbits and hares are gonna fuxk with your head 😂

I love that the render distance is bad when looking far, animals don't disappear until about 500m or so, and it's much easier to spot them, you could even spot rabbits from that distance, but like you already noticed the grass acts funny 😅

If you wanna rank up some money , cougars go for 3k , Pawnee meadows. There’s also bison that go for 4/5k recommendation of 30-30/ 308 / 9.63 ammo . It would be the second map of Texas . Callers help a lot I’ve noticed playing . Spook radius is about 100 meters , sometimes less if your crouching or don’t a have dog.

Do you mean literally? Roosters can/will kill people if they are REALLY determined. So I'm sure you can see how that would go down with a bird 1/2 it's size. Now if there was a murder of crows, obviously things wouldn't end the same way. But in a 1 v 1 the Rooster would either kill the crow easily or scare it off.
