1. Press R - use the map - it will take you to points of interest. 2. Use zinc, make the boost mod - that will finish the quest that gives you the soil centrifuge. 3. Use the soil centrifuge to make clay, turn to ceramic, make 8 small wind turbines for one ceramic each, make 8 batteries with zinc, power problems solved for early game - take all the qt-rtgs with you. 4. Put the (harmless) mutated plants nearer to your base, your presence seems to activate them, they'll grow quickly. 5. Do all the missions you can before going to a new planet - your life will be SO much easier. I love watching your videos but you have me screaming at the screen at the moment LOL :)

FYI, you can "scan" the shells without digging them up. It may save you some time and trouble.

You should build the Soil Centrifuge, that will eliminate the headache of trying to search for basic materials like clay and resin, etc. All you need to collect is soil then feed it into the machine and pick which material you need. You'll still need to search for the metallic and glass type materials though.

12:11 it was actually four launches last time you played, it just takes four launches to reach and return from another planet: one to get to space, one to get to the planet, and the same two in reverse. A planet’s moon only takes two: the one to get to space, then land on the moon, and return. The fun is when you start flying out to the Moon, then fly off other planets, and suddenly you are lacking a charge that you previously needed.

@@tokimcbongrip8751 I actually miss storms, the only real problem they had was that the devs tried to increase the frequency of storm activity with more players, but the ratio was off so with four players it was constantly storming. If the proper ratio was figured out, I would love to see them return.

I think if you just open up the in game wiki-lite, you can quickly find out what you've forgotten. If you are looking for something, it can tell you on which planets and which biomes you can find it. It will really help you when you are wondering if what you are looking for is where you think it is.

Yes that's all it does it's just a just a cosmetic. It just changes the look of the sky and that's it. It doesn't do anything else. It's just a "lore" item.

When out and about exploring and you run out of storage like that just use back pack to print small printer and then print storage. A lot easier than making trips. You also have a compass that will take you to any beacon even if you cant see them. Remember the days of storms!?!?!?

Go to glacio next, it has 2 resources you don’t have, and it gives you some special train stuff. Also, random, but I recommend having (you can not do the second one cause your not doing multiplayer and have a qtrtg) a tractor, 2 trailers(or 3 in your case) 1 tractor. Max is 4 in a row, so this is the max amount of storage.

Glacio is the best place to get Bytes really fast. Bring Ammonium and Power Generators to open Exo Pods for huge research pods of Between 5,750 to 7,500 Bytes each, plus Caves have fast scanables that give 355 Bytes each.

Did you know that the hostile plant that you are growing yourself don't attack you "most of them anyway" so its bettr to grow them in surface and it seems to be faster, unless they nerf the growth rate

So much for getting back into playing Astroneer on my Nintendo Switch after seeing your recent videos, Z1. The Halloween 2024 LTE has just been forced onto players, and we're not even into late October. Looks like I won't be doing any more playing till maybe sometime November, unless, as I suspect, the Xmess 2024 LTE gets started straight after this LTE is done. If that happens then no more Astroneer till sometime next year. :( Not happy, as there's no way to disable LTEs.

bruh wth i skipped sylvia to get to glaciao i land and what do i see... the poi group with broke large wind tubines with a field shelter.. it had a full RTG dude i just won the game omg i sat there and almost died of o2 lack seeing that RTG i had to lol Z1 shuffle that bad boy back to the temp base .. hello atrox now could you re showcase the tapper and how to do that and also the large platform C loaded down and jet packiing around to get stuff once ya get that far.. also also in this playthrough i need a large rover train that isnt scrapping show me the goodness
